It's like playing around in Logic but wrapped in a hip metal case. Yeah Logic isn't very stage-worthy but if you only play at home you can do most of the effects on the EHX pedals plus many many more for the price of two of the pedals (and a decent audio interface, i.e. Apogee). Learn, experiment, buy the pedals if you're playing live. I love my Big Muff and there's no replacing physical pedals but sadly I'm not rich.

@marekbruno It works very well on bass. Tracking is excellent, even with a fretless. The 2 octave down slider is perhaps of little use, but everything else about it works well with bass. Follow it with a fuzz box for a huge sound.

This is a MUCH better demo of the Pog2 than ProGuitarShop's. They usually do a great job, but they didn't show half of what the pedal is capable of like you did.

Just out of curiousity - could you use this to "detune" your guitar as the tracking is so well done? use only the detune function on it to effect the dry signal to detune a guitar mid performance for a little bit, then deactivate it to return to save swapping guitars midway if you do not have a second guitar player? Could this be theoretically done??? has anyone tried?

e-h makes a little version of this (it's either "micro" or "nano" pog- i forget which.) it doesn't have the presets or as many octave options,. but it does much of what this one does in a smaller package.

Very nice demo. It's one of the few where I've seen units as this used in a functional manner. The first settings and the thickening settings where really useful and nice. I'm not much fan of the organ sounds. I'd rather use a real organ.

Sure-Sure. Of course. But I use soft-synths, so that changes it all. Software organs come closer to organ sounds than this pedal can ever get.
