I think your okay, try to sing from your diaphram, instead of your throat and nose. Sit up straight and for me sometimes standing helps. Do more breathing exercises for your lungs so that you can hold notes longer. Also I believe this song was too advance for you, you should start with songs in your vocal range ( if you force it you can permently damage your vocals) and as your vocals get stronger target harder songs like this. This song is a BIG song for anyone to sing. Subtle nuances in the vocals are what makes all the difference. Heart's Ann Wilson was the MASTER and no one can come close to her level yet...but, if this girl practices and let her voice mature, she will be a talent to contend with. Granted, she picked a very BIG song for a 12 year old to execute.
