My favorite pipe organ in the world. I have been there every summer since Gordon started playing there in 1974. It has the BEST and most powerful pedal division of any organ I have ever heard hands down. The 32' Contra Diaphone shakes the floor all the way back of the Auditorium. The building is made out of wood. You have to hear the great instrument to believe it. I get goosebumps from the sound. Yet, it can be as subtle and can knock your socks off with that thunderous bass in the pedal!
And if I remember right, the organ spans the entire auditorium (talk about surround sound!), adding up to a grand total of about thirty-three thousand pipes.
@JupiterIV This is the Hope-Jones organ, not the organ in the Atlantic City Convention Hall. This one now has 10,823 pipes. The acoustics are amazing due to the arched pine tongue and groove ceiling, an extension of the sounding boards above the louvers. if you did not know, most of the pipes are in 4 chambers below street level. Pipes are also over-sized and can handle the football field sized room very well.

Absolutely it sounds better in person. There is only so much a $250 camera can capture.
