a gorgeous tragic love song that moves me everytime I hear it. there is nothing like the feeling a woman gets when she turns the head of the man she loves......this song was playing during a defining moment for me. At a stoplight, this song playing, our eyes met, and I knew...I will never forgot the intensity and still feel it like it was 1997 all over again.

Very hard for me to imagine a better video than this. It's concept is so artistic in the use of light, shadow and simple objects. In it's simplicity it far surpasses anything that's being made in the music video genre today. Plus the song is exquisite and a joy to listen to.

I first saw this video way the hell back in the 90's, back when MTV played videos, and I only saw it once and thought it was the most beautiful thing I'd ever seen. Then it disappeared and they replaced it with some crappy video with performance footage. I've been looking for this thing for 10 years - and it's just as good as I remember it. One of the band member's mom worked at the sailing club I sailed at when I was a kid and she said they pulled this video because MTV got a really negative reaction from viewers who said they didn't understand it. Just look at the scenes, the art; they seem bleak, yet beautiful, they make an artistic statement about the world. They are stark and mysterious, the contrast of light and dark, of shadow, the dark silhouettes of the people in the video, how alone and solitary they look, the emptiness of the locations, long shadows.. they all contribute to a beautiful yet very melancholy, stark world, fitting with the song. This video adds a completely new and fitting layer to the song.
