It's so true too. I saw Wicked here in both Tulsa and Houston, and the audience was laughing at the jokes and having a good time. When I saw it in London though, no one really laughed. British audiences really are more reserved.

lol american movie premieres are AWESOME! i went to the part two midnight premiere and EVERYONE was dressed up :) Infact some people brought some beach balls and we all hit them around the theatre. Oh and we even had wizard duels :D And of course at the end of the movie everyone was crying and everyone started singing 'Gotta get back to Hogwarts" (From A very potter musical). I may love british accents but i dont want to give up the american fun :D

The British still have their harsh criticisms towards lots of things when Americans have more warmer criticisms.

Other then Harry Potter, when it comes to Star Wars, George Lucas had to work with British staff on the first Star Wars with the bigger stages and filming studios, and they were stubborn and George had clashes with them for their attitudes towards his dream project. Then in the 2nd one, they felt it wouldn't be a good sequel, but in the 3rd, they loved George.
