@missmoneyhoney1 The play isn't how he's "obsessed with having sex with horses" If you actually read the book, it's a beautiful play. Sick and deranged, yes, but beautiful and intriguing. And you should be congratulating him because very few actors will be so willing to do a play where you have to get butt naked in front of an audience; especially actors that are so well-known.

It's not fcking creepy either. It's called art. This production is MUCH more than his obsession with horses.

Alan's (the main characters) obsession with horses and Dr. Dysart's (the psychiatrist) personal conflict on whether or not alan should be cured have a much deeper meaning than you think. Religion does play a small part yes ,but again, its role is simply to serve a greater purpose in the play. please watch the play with an opened mind.

I even read a review of the book where it stated that the boy never really had sex(beastiality) with the animals, yet daniel had to perform naked in the play. obviously people are choosing what to see. its also to give an account of a demented person in a story but to

My director gave me the play script for Chritmas a few years ago and I read the whole thing. I think it would be wonderful to have seen!
