I agree with 98. I'm sick of seeing Mario in every new franchise that Nintendo come up with. It was alright in Smash Bros because it beared some relevance to the theme of the game (characters from all sorts of games duking it out) but every time Nintendo make a game they put Mario in it.

Well, for cartoony graphics that these are, they seem to move the game along for any player. There are no standards of "realism" at work when it pertains to cartoons. The Wii system is severely underpowered, just like the PS2 compared to Xbox, or the Nintendo DS compared to PSP.
