I'm a new christian and I was wondering, did satan believe Jesus was the son of God? If he did know for sure, do you think he would have still killed Jesus?
@busaboo Well, to answer your questions to the best of my ability from the Scriptures I have studied, I'll say YES Satan knew for a fact Jesus is the only begotten Son of God. To be clear though, Satan did not kill Jesus, the Roman pagan sun worshiping heathens did that, although I suppose it could be said Satan was behind the whole thing through his demonic influence over those people who did the killing. ...but does satan know the Scripture? Yes, absolutely but he's evil.
@vudumojo Yahusha was put to death on "preporation day" ie : The day BEFORE Passover. Passover is an anual high Sabboth NOT the weekly one., Yahhusha was murdered on the 3rd day of the week NOT Friday.
@Loonypics I fully agree Friday is wrong too. You say the THIRD DAY. There are a lot of theories. The 3rd day is Tuesday to be clear, Sunday is the 1st, Saturday/Sabbath day is the 7th. sunday, monday, tuesday = 3rd day.
You really think it was Tuesday the 3rd day?
Many say Wednesday others say Thursday.
I was thinking Wednesday for a while but now I'm leaning toward Thursday, but you have my attention...

@Loonypics Passover was the ANNUAL Sabbath. Then we see ANOTHER Sabbath a few days later, the weekly Sabbath Day which is why it was 3 days and 3 nights Jesus was in the ground, fulfilling the prophesy and yet the women waited until the Sabbath DAY was over before going out the next morning but he was already risen, past tense early that morning before the sun even came up. So yes if we count BACKWARD from Sunday morning it adds up to Thursday morning I think but definitely not Friday

@lexwill1 when it comes down to it Jesus(His spirit) didn't stay in the grave/tomb the whole 3 days, he visited hell.. as far as the Friday to Sunday thing goes, Constintine added 5 days to our calender so that would mess up any sort of what day to what day issues, ya know..? what was a Friday prior to makes no matter, the important thing to look at is that our Lord died, was placed in a tomb and arose 3 days later and now sits at the right hand of our Father who art in heaven.. take care..

The ONLY holiday we are supposed to have is the feast of tabernackles for 7 days at fall late Sep or late Oct. The sabbath is for rest, Friday dusk till Saturday dusk which is basically all day Saturday.
Christmas is a joke, Jesus was born in September (he said mourn his death & ressurection not B-day) Pagans celebrate birthdays. Basically EVERY single holiday we celebrate is a lie with pagan origins ALL of them.

Luke 24:21 But we trusted that it had been he which should have redeemed Israel: and beside all this, to day is the third day since these things were done.

I've heard Wednesday - Saturday (Sabbath) and I've recently heard Thursday - Sunday which also makes a lot of sense.
At least these theories use critical thinking and are somewhat logical.
What organized religion gives us is complete nonsense.
No wonder the lost will not listen *to them*.
