I was raised with this crap, so I know I'm very much aware of what I'm talking about. The Old Testament is based primarily on fear. Sodom and Gomorrah and the Great Deulge being examples of such that I personally find pretty hard to ignore, Fast foward to the New Testament, and instead of punishing sinners Jesus is healing blind people.

The Republicans made the EPA because if they didnt the Democrats would have, and it would have had real teeth. Its ridiculous today, totally broken down. I worked at a chemical plant and they get phonecalls telling them when the EPA was going to be in town and shut the plant down. There were far worse presidents: Woodrow Wilson, Jimmy Carter, Lyndon Johnson, James Buchanan, Andrew Johnson, James K Polk for starters; my favorites are Washington, Cleveland, Harding, Coolidge, Eisenhower and Kennedy. They respected the Constitution, and Nixon did not.

What people fail to realize is that Nixon was a mirror of America then- a nation believing its own BS and eating it too. JFK killed and whitewashed, Vietnam 60,000 killed-the Tonkin Gulf was a lie, RFK killed , Martin Luther King's martyrdom. Nixon was us- we were Nixon- as a whole- as a nation.
