Thanks for the video it worked out great for me after the 5th time. My issue was I had put a shortcut for the original rom on the desktop. Once I redirected it go directly to source it worked perfectly. Thanks time to take in for warranty.

I was getting the same error as you were, then i realized, I never updated stock 2.1 to stock 2.2 which means i cant restore back to stock 2.2 , you see i only rooted my 2.1 then put a custom rom on it which had 2.2 in that rom, so now that i want to go to stock 2.2 i cant restore back, look just go back to stock 2.1 , then root , the update to 2.2 . thats what i did. jeaaaa

@randyshear i was following your instructions to the letter but when i tried to odin my phone back to stock everything was going like it was in your video until it was time to restart. My phone looked like it was restarting but never turned back on and it even got a pass in odin but now it wont turn on or even be recognized through usb. any thoughts or suggestions ?

I've been trying the .md5 file from the direct download and it keeps saying the MD5 hash value is invalid. I've tried redownloading it and it still says the same thing. Is there a problem with the file?

@scarfman4 I just replaced the file with a new one. Try using it instead.

@randyshear The new file wouldn't work either, but I got it to work with the original file by renaming it from .tar.md5 to just .tar. You might want to put the original link back with a note to rename the file. Thanks.

@randyshear thanks for the link randy, i'm having a new problem though. when i try to use the stock dk28 with odin it says that it's invalid. i've reset my pc, reset my phone, and tried it about a dozen times and it still says it's invalid. any suggestions?

My phone acts wierd.

I can gt to the downlaod screen just fine, windows sees the com port abled, but go to flash and fail. Numerous times.

What i have to do is this....

1. Pull the battery.

2. Plug in USB.

3. Immediately hold down 1 + Power.

4. Odin and Flash with no errors.

I am thinking this could have something to do with the battery seeing that it is the x-factor here. Maybe its defective and spitting out too much voltage.
