They fucked up on hard. On the main drum rolls for the chorus and verses they put that gap in there so my timing ends up fucked up and I end up playing extra notes, then trying to compensate and faltering.

BTW CA249SAWMK2, you're saying you're having a 1/10 sec delay and it's noticeable. We can hear that you're not perfectly on time with the music.

You should go in the options and set it up.

If you say you have a 1/10 sec response time then set the lag to 10ms, should make it perfect!

I play on my friends 360 version of this game, and I fail at the begining because the drum pads are unresponsive to the majority of the hits when playing that fast. Are you playing on the replacement set that they're supposed to be shipping out or what? It's rather annoying being able to play that well but not have the drums agree with you.

Guys, Usually that lack of responsiveness doesnt come from the pads. The cause is often that most of HDTV's have some lag issues that are noticeable in rythm games!

I've had my share of problems setting up my 42" LG HDTV to make it playable on anything Hard and expert! I've had similar problems with guiar hero.

Well I find playing RB is somewhat more fun than playing real drums, because it just feels great to play music from famous bands that I like. In RB, you don't have to be the actual artists to have some fame, and that is what I like about RB. I still have respect for all real drummers, but some of them like you have something against electronic drumming and people having fun doing it. I'd ask why?

Perhaps when you hit a snare, it will sound exactly the same every time, just like in RB. There are probably some kits that will sound louder depending on how hard you hit, which is really cool. I play RB mainly because I'm good at it compared to other people and plan to play competitively against others to make money. I understand you can do the same playing real drums, but it's way harder for me, as I'm 16. Perhaps this question could go to the other top drummers who are all adults? :P

Once you get to expert, what should really help is being able to double-strike with each hand. Practice on double-striking especially with your left hand if you're right-handed. I double-strike with my left hand a lot and it truly helps me out on drum rolling three hits a drum.

Hard is just tricky though, expert is all about endurance imo. Depends if you're better @ endurance or doing tricky parts. To me, I'm better @ endurance than tricky stuff so ya RttH on hard seems harder to me :/

Ok, it's not necessary to spam the drumset for more points. just constantly hit the drumset with a steady drum roll or something, but hit as many times as you can when you're in the very end of the big rock ending, as it will add you more points than not hitting the very end of it.

In Rock Band, it's called Energy.

Perform anything you want on the drum fills and hit the green note at the end, and you'll get 1/4 of your energy filled, needing at least 1/2 your energy to activate what's called Overdrive instead of Star Power.

nice dude, i wanted to be the first solo drummer to complete it on expert on youtube but my dumb ass friend hasnt found the time to get it on youtube yet. i used a technique that may seem weird to people, but it works good. got an 88% on my first try. ill post the video when it gets up so u can see how i do it. ill try getting one up with me getting like 95% after i practice it a little, and do a few run throughs. good job anyway.
