If I were a CEO of an airline here in the US, I would not hesitate in flying in this aircraft. This jet is certifiable in the US and a good bargain as far as price.

This new jet should be a strong competitor for regional jets on the market now. Boeing was a consultant on this project and Russia has always made good aircraft no matter what people will say for political reasons. Look at the cost and capabilities of this jet compared to the CRJ series jets of Canada and Embraer Jets of Brazil. If I were a CEO of an airline here in the US, I would not hesitate in flying in this aircraft. This jet is certifiable in the US and a good bargain as far as price.

absolutely right. its amazing how some americains are so oblivious. there living the american dream and they havent woken up yet.china is keeping there currency undervalue which is hurting usa .Brazil, india and china are developing. as soon as euro gets out of there debt crisis i wouldnt be surpised if euro becomes the new reserve currency. when that happen is america going to attack europe?america will never be what it was before 2009, it impossible, they have nothing to offer anymore.

Wow, a lot of the comments here are first class examples why RT should follow Aljazeeras example and block comments to their clips. Sukhoi designed a passanger airliner specifically meant to be a short ranged aircraft with a maximum of only 100 passengers to target domestic markets. All this dick measuring by calming that 'Oooo, we build things bigger' is pointless. Yeah, you might... but that's pretty far besides the point since this is the size that Sukhoi wanted to design.
