Another way to save money is if your vet inspects 2 dogs you have and they weigh the same, say you could buy a tube of Advantix from the vet that is double the weight of one dog and split the tube between the two. Our vet did that for a client who was on a tight budget. But the medicine in the tube must be divided exact. You can ask your vet to apply it for you so the amount is distributed evenly for each dog so he/she can show you the correct way the first time.
