Thanks for the bottle tip. I used to put the psyllium in a cup, and the pour the water. Then I had to mix that up with a spoon. The bottle makes it much easier.
Does psyllium husk have a strict use by date? I have some still unopened that has a use by date of 5.30.2011, will it still be good to go in a month or so?
I like the whole husk it works better, you have to use more but it works way better. Also i use benotnite clay in the water mixed before mixing in the Psyllium....it leaches the toxins from the colon better that way.
@kgp4death quite right; the whole husk is where it's at. The stuff that's ground up and put into commercial packaging usually got sugar, or much worse, aspartame, and other crap thrown in. I'll have to find out more about this benotnite clay ... sounds interesting
