  • Kubota Z's do not use drive belts on their HST transmissions. So belt failure is not possible. Their drive and rear brake system is much different than typical pump/wheel motor combination equipped mowers. Its obvious the front brake system makes a huge difference when going forward or down a hill forward. Much like that of any vehicle. If you were backing down the hill the front brakes would become useless and the rears would pick up all the braking. All based on load transfer.

  • great system!! my grandpas friend mows around a larg pond with steep hill all around with a scag 0- turn this would be ideal for him!
