i have one x-mini II but many of my friends and family have too so when we are together we are connecting them and only one sounds killer,but more,just pure awesomness...so if u ask me dont buy more,just show it to your friends and after they buy it is really cool...u can check the x-mini max II and x-mini happy :P

I'm lookin forward to pickin a few of these up to 'daisy-chain' for xmas. but i'm not too sure, what kind of bass exactly does this thing deliver? no video on youtube can do bass justice cuz mics can't pick up the full bass of any good speaker system. so i gotta ask, when you people that own these say good bass, what do you mean? like real bass or like small-speaker style bass?

I got 2 X-Mini II's, plus a pair of X-Mini MAX II, just cuz i wanted to. And I must say, the X-Mini MAX II has less bass coming out, compared to my 2 X-Mini II's. Overall, the sound quality of the MAX II is I think superb. Wouldn't really say better, depends on what you want. But I'm using 4 speakers atm and together they sound king size! :D

I have the iHome capsule speakers for my netbook. They are very similar to this, except that you get two for $40. They also have a magnetic base so you can stick them together (the extra weight also prevents them from vibrating). Although I like the built in mini-jack on the x-mini II, I would rather hear the sound coming out of my speakers than the sound of them bouncing on the table. :P

Bass tends to be replicated these days by synthesized processing to create the low frequencies that would not be possible with small speakers. (Physics just does not allow very low bass levels from small speakers.) The resulting bass is not natural sounding. However, if that's not a problem from you, then these speakers are the cat's ass.

Great Video but 2 Q's: I think i know the answer to this first one but are the speakers shielded? so if you put it in the same pocket as ur iPod it won't corrupt it. Second, If you chain several together do they play in surround sound or are they all mono? Either way im sure they sound great.
