there was a song in this album named Whizz kid, if you could post it would be great, it's been many years for me without hearing it... Jethro tull is great
@6KingCooper6 do you have it?? can you upload it??? cut along the dotted line, i don't know and seal the flap, postal const.. don't know... win a four night in Ibiza.... upload it pleaaase
Brilliant lyrics. Kinda sad, though. One of my favorite Tull tunes, nevertheless. Me and an old buddy of mine saw Tull live at Freeborn Hall, UCD (1993-ish). Fairly intimate venue and probably the loudest concert I've ever been to. Aqualung was totally off the hook. It must have been 150 decibels int there! They were great. They had a cool stage show with a "pretend" bar to the side and a classically dressed bar tender, cleaning glasses & preparing drinks.
@na5m its strange. i dont belive in religion or spirits or anything....but like many people i think i was born in the wrong time. musicaly it would be the 70s to 80s. everyday wise it would be the 17th century. whats my point? idk im verey drunk lol.
This song is about academia, and the Profs that hang on way beyond their time,

I found this album for $5 at Borders when it was going out of business. Best purchase I ever made.

Tull concerts were much more than just a concert. They were a production,, much like Alice Cooper concerts where the songs are actually acted out.

Look like that this music was made for Axl Rose.
Love it

@DiazdelVivar Naw man I don't sorry :( I was just saying I'd forgotten about the song in general. I'll try to work on it though.

the intro sounds like greek music

@girisking It doesn't remind me of anything Greek to be honest, but, whatever

@laudatutub you need to listen to some greek tunes and check again

@Giao1 Hey! I AM Greek, been listening to greek tunes all my life. What if I'd say it sounds Celtic to me? That could be as well, wouldn't it?
To conclude, it sounds Jethro Tull to me, enjoy it.:)

@laudatutub This is good stuff my friend, nothing more. I remain American, and Ian doesn't even blaze his flute in this offering?
