if the combat resolution is a draw, the unit with a musician wins, if both has ha musician its a draw, don't know if you know already but seems like you missed it :)

funny...i played VC since 2008, now that the new book is out ive lost interest. It just bugs me that people only play "new" armies because only NOW are they "viable". How about playing what you like and learn how to adapt. Ask any Brettonian or (pre new edition) Dark Eldar player.

@johnkerry7 I played vamps in the old book too. Started in 7e. I also play Bretonnia & Ogres. If you ask me, motivations to play don't matter. The more the merrier.

@lukeesystems i guess my thing is, if they "liked" VC so much why didnt they play before. i just smell "tourny" all over the place when i hear people RIGHT after the new book comes out that they are going to be starting a new VC or what have you army..., not to mention i want them AAAAALL to my self lol :p

Do you plan on using Vargheists and Crypt Horrors in you list? I like the models but wanted to see how they play on the board.

@N44433 I do - vargheists I'm not sure about, but crypt horrors for sure. Hopefully I can pick up some soon and run them with the Stragoi Ghoul King and a ghoul army.

I believe that you can only have 3 groups of Sabertuck in a not grand army list.

One of the best match ups is Tomb Kings vs Vampire Counts. You really get a feel for how different they actually are, and when its a race to see who will crumble first games get hilarious...fast.
