I agree with sublorange. Bagpipes would have been a natural move for this band, all of whose best songs include them. Further, the lead singer's vocals are not meant to be spotlighted like that. He's tone deaf and vocally talentless -- the party's in his attitude and ability to get a crowd pumping their fists and shouting.

Fuck you, Al Barr is a pioneer of the American Oi/hardcore scene. Although i dont like what dropkick has become, i respect where Al has been a musician.
I really really didn't enjoy it when the singer(omg I don't know his name because I'm a casual DKM fan) continued the cookie monster vocals into the slow parts. He screwed up in an area or two and sang in a more natural tone and I really enjoyed it. He should have switched it up. Could have been great but it's still pretty good.
I think its a good cover, nice quality too. Its going to be on the Limited Edition of the Meanest of Times if im not mistaken. Shame i already bought the album...

I loved this when they played it! So much energy in that place, I think I was near this too.
About Al's singing, in restrospect it was a little unsettling in some parts, but mostly he did an awesome job, especially at the end.

i concur with mr. human, this is a lazy way of pumping up a mixed crowd, since DKM's are playing to a lot of barhopping yuppie idiots in a lot of the pubs they play, especially here on Long Island
