@ligtooo i agree with you totally. don't know why game developers want to complicate life, when switching on a console , we seek some moments of fun, instead we have nervs boiling. i played GOW (kratos) then dropped the game, i find it shitty since it's too hard, if i knew dante's inferno is a similar game (jumping swinging blades, have to rotate analogue in fraction of second, fire jumping, etc..) i wouldn't have spent money.on this game, also spare myself getting nervous.

@marvelouscrow Well, I myself enjoy face-rape style games. Ever play Monster Hunter? Helluva lot harder than any of the GoW games, and it's an Action RPG! But things like "press X not to die" and "fake difficulty" to quote a certain site that shan't be named do make me irritated. I'd have to say though, this game isn't terribly hard compared to a lot of others out there. Dunno about GoW, I spent little time with them.

okay so i think i screwed up here. I pulled the first 2 levers, and got the silver coin. But I left the room to save that soul cuz it was taking FOREVER to get. I finally came back to the hoarder/waster room and the lever is already switched and I cant get up there anymore. It won't allow me to do the RB function.

Does this mean I cant get up anymore and start the game from scratch?

This is the most stressful and particular game ive played, theres no leeway for anything, if you do ANYTHING wrong you either die or end up in a pit somewhere so you have to fight your way back to where you were. Every wrong move is punished by a load of shit. Maybe this game IS hell?

As I recall there is no scene described in the book where Dante Alighieri kills death and takes his scythe.

Your question is a strange. PS3 and 360 are video game systems that have high defintion graphics. I don't know if you live in the U.S and probably not from that question. You want this to have good graphics it requires a hd lcd or led flat screen tv running at 1080p then buy a hd cable which cost about 120 dollars. You need alot of money about $1700 for a nice 46 to 55 and you will have a game with good graphic output.

I had wicked trouble timing that jump onto the ledge with the spikes at about 3:00. After about 30-40 tries, I decided to double jump BEFORE getting to the ledge. And it worked on the first try. Pull the lever...start running and start your double jump onto the ledge BEFORE you get to the ledge and you'll get there before the spikes come down and be able to pull yourself up and onto the rising spikes.

on the vertical wheel just make sure your 1st jump is onto the edge of the wheel, the second will be enough to make it to the platform.

I have the hardest time getting Dante to grab the ledge in 2:30, he won't grab it to save his life. @_@ Does anyone have a suggestion? I keep practicing double jumping up to grab the ledge (where the switch is) but when the gate is falling, he double jumps up, and then doesn't grab the ledge. I almost wonder if it's a glitch or something.

I like that they change it up a bit but kept a lot of the same elements, like the historical figures that kept appearing in Alighieri's poem. What caught me off guard was the offensive raunchiness, but then I thought, this is hell, how else would you represent it really? It's supposed to be this awful place, and in the poem it is. The imagery is OUTSTANDING!

@DarthSheen Is it the horizontal wheel, or the vertical one? I can't help you with the vertical one, it's really tricky, but I found out that, instead of jumping and waiting a bit to gain distance to jump a second time (the double jump, I don't know if that was clear) jump more quickly, it gives him the extra height needed to reach the horizontal one. Again, if it's the vertical one you're having trouble with, XD good luck, that one kills me.

Well its tricky and it's based on timing so stop worying about the enemys and focus on getting the turning lever only fight the enemys when they get really close

thanks dude, I was stuck there because I was going to the guy on the top to punish or absolve him AFTER I open the gate at the top next to him and than after I pull the liver which makes spikes stop spinning. Problem is spikes don't let you passs once they are stoped. In the video you posted, I found out that you have to punish him before stopping spikes.

i also saw some things which I missed.
