Very nice-- I'm not a fan of the hand position at the begining, nor of the extreme tempo change in the middle. Debussy is VERY specific in his music, and I don't believe he intended for the tempo to change that dramatically. Also, be careful of the dipthongs on "c'est", "les" , and "et"-- You don't want to sound like this is SOUTHERN French! And by the way--those three do not rhyme in French.."c'est" is more of an "eh" sound while the others are more long "a" sound. GREAT accompanist thank God!
This is an extremely difficult song; I had the task of preparing this one for contest my senior year of high school. I hadn't thought about slowing in the middle section. It's an interesting interpretation, although perhaps not one that most singers would make. Good job; I know how difficult this piece is!
