haha, i'm also 5'8 150 and i ride a 7'6 funboard that i learned on. If your just starting i recommend something a little bigger so your feet dont hang off the end of the board, like an 8'0 otherwise my 7'6 works well in all types of surf

t-street is usually blackballed during summer and if you go to the north side of the pier stay a distance away from the actual pier, it gets pretty localized there

why is there so many localized spots in california, cuz i hear that every time, ive once been to huntington beach, but didnt have my surfboard with, so couldnt see it myself., but i live in moondarewa, and here (gold coast) in australia, there not really localized places. just let everyone surf where they want, its all just fun.

ye im from SC, and if you want to get a good break with the LEAST local hastle, then go to T-street, or Poche...but Poche only breaks good like ten times a year or prolly less, do not go to 204's (strictly local) or Salt Creek(good waves, but the people make it not even worth it)

wow dilly and sponger are defintely not experiened surfers. if they were, then they would know its harder and takes more skill to do a cutback on a 7 foot funboard than on a shortboard. keep it up usedsurf crew.
