THere is also something called Nosophobia, which is the fear of illness. It's different from hypochondria because (as I understand it) you are generally afraid of death and illness, to such a degree that you fear GETTING symptoms, whereas hypochondriacs panic about existing symptoms.
I get a sort of halucinations without neuroleptic. A mixt of my thoughts. The most people in my country get neuroleptc as the base treatement for TAB. Zypreza, Abilify, Seroquel, etc.
I have bipolar disorder and I took only 1 pill of quetiapine (300 mg). 2 days I couldn't get up of my bed. My mother was at home and brought me food (I was very very hungry) because I was zombie due to only one pill and I couldn't eat alone. During these last 9 month I kept myself stable with 5 drops of haldol, 10 drops when I was upset and my thoughts mixet up. And only 250 mg Depakote of 1800 mg which are prescribed in the prospect of Depakote for my weight.
Type I. Also Zyprea produces devastating effects for me. Took only 2 pills. And then give them to the doctor. Now am I continuind being stabele with depakote, haldol an diazepam just in case.
@copildoaroclipa i took 800 mg a day and was like i was mentally fucking retarted went back to it recently had severe side effects and messaged astra zinica theyre fucking assholes theyre didnt even help me so fuck serouquel s stupid fucking ass prolixin is better and its descriminated against big time i like typicals better than a typicals never had a bad side effect until 40 mg then blood in stool but went away
@copildoaroclipa Have you tried Lithium Bicarbonate? About 3 yrs ago I was diagnosed bipolar and it has seemed to work since them. (Antipsychotics like Dekapote and Geodon just messed me up more)
Diet, sleep, and excercise and also important, I've learned. :)
Unfortunately I took 600 mg Seroquel (Quetiapnine) this year, 2 months and it was awfull. I slept 20 hours from 24 and another 4 I coudn't get out of bed. I forgot everything. My feet were cold, so cold and they hurt me so bad from this cold till cryng. I stopped it and now I am on haldol and depakote. In our country Lithium is no longer manufactured because is too cheep. But I took Lithium 16 years ago. It made me disy and in a sort of depression.

@copildoaroclipa If your condition is type I do not need the use of neuroleptics. Only stabilizers and antidepressants may.
Thanks !
