Arabic Countries is 22 and there are some native arabic speakers in turkey , iran , chad , Sénégal , Ethiopia , some countris studing arabic as a second or third lnaguage , now some muslims in usa speak arabic fluently when he / she is a child

This is outrageous. I would not allow my child to be forced to take Arabic. English is the only language that should be mandatory in this country!

Taking a Language should be an elective, not mandatory unless it is for certain college prep courses, I wouldn't discourage my children from learning a different language if they wanted to, but I would be very upset if they were forced to take a language class. One because it is something that takes a lot of time, and 2 not everyone has the ear or mind for it and it can be very discouraging to be in a class that you don't understand.

Arabic language instruction does not entail Islamic indoctrination. Guess what, 9/11 happened and we had very few Arabic translators. We still don't have enough.
