@ssbbw00 you will still be able to see him. Maurice White was diagnosed in 1992 with the neurological and degenerative PARKINSON'S DISEASE. But he has it under control and it is not fatal. Although he announced that he would no longer tour or perform with the group in 1995, he does still write music and once in awhile he will do a cameo performance.

He openly states that he kept it under wraps and continued to tour and perform with the disease for 5 years until 199s when he announced the he would no longer tour or perform with the group.
