But they should have stripped Alonso of the titel that year. Beeing involved in such things should not be allowed. Even though that if this had not happened he would still have won the championship, but things like that should give a very very big punishment.

In my mind too. In one way I understand why they didn't change that though. You can't go back in time and change results after the championsip has already been decided. In this case it wouldn't have changed that champion but what if you stripped somebody of his title a year later by changing some results that really didn't have anything to do with the title contenders? That would be wrong. It should be decided on the track, as much as Alonso isn't a worthy winner.

F1 is after all a sport. It is supposed to be a contest based on certain rules. In this case (as I suspect in numerous previous cases) the result has been manipulated by people breaking the rules. If that is the case why do we have so much of a problem calling it by its correct name. Certain people within the Renault camp have cheated; it's a simple as that.

It was obvious that Ferrari needed to get the safety car out so Massa can catch up to Hamilton in the closing laps of the Grand Prix, who eventually was on better pace with the tires. Alonso started 15 and piquet was 16th so renault wouldn't have said anything at the start of the race because alonso wasn't even in contention to win the race so the only way they couldve told piquet was during the race after the events unfolded and alonso was in a winning position and the only way they could've done that is the radio-so they just have to find the conversation or ordering by briatorie or whatever........ and piquet is only saying this because he got axed
