  • Does this fan have a toggle switch on it or a push button.

  • @TheFanMan06 i dont think it has its original switch, but it currently has a toggle

  • nice startup sound! looks like it would be good for that window right there!

  • its actually a door! lol but yes it would be!

  • im not sure myself to tell you the truth.

  • I don't think that's a Berstead fan, those wouldn't have a Westy motor in them.

  • idk it kinda resembles one though doesnt it!

  • gotta love them old fans.... runs better than these newer fans

  • You got that right! this thing is great!

  • nice fan it does have some looks of a berstead but isnt one but proably 10X better

  • holy hell this sucker is so powerful!

  • wow dude you got a LOT of fans lol who knew that people on youtube would be interested in videos of fans?

  • this one isnt mine YET! but im working on that! he isnt giving it up willingly! and old fans are awsome! you will find that they work so much better than new junkers!

  • Yeah I know they're a lot better I just don't know why so many people want to watch them hahaha

  • same reason people watch tractors and engines! it interestes them and they collect them! i collect all kinds of stuff though!

  • very nice. i hope you can get that one at somepoint.

now that it has warmed up a bit i might work on my ancient box fan to clean it and reoil the bearings

  • oh i pulled this beast all apart as you could see!

  • i saw. mine wont be too hard. take off the tape holding the front grille and a set screw on the blade

  • its really not so bad to fix these old fans up. you will need 3 in 1 electric motor oil. it is 20w non detergent oil and thats what you want to use to oil the motor! a true value or ace hardware shoul have it. it comes in a BLUE container. the Red

3 in 1 oil has detergents in the oil that are not good foe electric motors.

  • blow the dust out of the motor as well! if you dont the dust will continue to build up and overheat and burn out the motor!
