  • Did I notice anyone I can use as an able bodied passenger? depending on water/land and which door im at my commands change so make sure I yell out the right commands... etc etc etc...

So if im yelling at you to put your phone down, and "Heads down, Stay Down"... please just do it cause your video phone wont save you... I WILL.

  • Let me tell you something, I would much rather have a flight attendant who is going to yell at me what to do. Cause if they are doing those commands, heres whats running through thier head;

Where am I seated? which door am I operating? Are we landing in water or on land? If on water, I will need to disarm my door... What equiptment can I take with me? How many wheelchair guests do we have today? Where are they seated?

  • I so agree she was annoying... <_< Yeesh. I know she has to do that but wow, I wish they didn't.

  • My friend and i flew to Toronto years ago when one of the engines blew halfway across the Atlantic, this was my first time flying and thanks to the free bar i wasn't the LEAST bit worried unlike my friend and the guy sitting at the window seat , by the time we arrived at the airport we had to circle several times so we would land with an empty tank , by the time we did there were abulances and fire engines waiting , we didn't need them thank God

  • @ panthomwaltz, yes planes can blow up on imapact , it's only thanks to the pilots that planes don't blow up

  • I'm a Flight Service Manager and I train flight attendants!! This f/a did a super job in commands!!! KUDOS!!!

  • can people die from landing without the gear?

  • @phantomwaltz No,, not in my 35 years of experience.,...flight attendants are trained to handle any emergency and people have to listen to the commands that are given...the pilots ususally bring in the plane low and do what's called a pancake landing. It's rough but no one dies from it.....if you fly? Just listen to your flight attendant's commands...I train them to do their job...:)

  • the "calm" song sounds like from a child molester

  • Announcer: Do you ever wonder what an emergency landing is like?

No I hope i'm never in the situation where I have to find out!!!

  • PMS much?

  • this lady is so weird

  • I will be a flight attendant soon. I hope I'll never have to shout out heads down stay down, over and over again before i die..... :P lol

  • @Metalicalypse - In nz couple years they did some surveys and got lots of stats and stuff and said air travel is way safer than car travel - prob because pilots are trained and know how to fly and some drivers dont even have a license and are drunk,

  • andddddddddd i just pooped my pants.

  • People have a habit of ignoring the flight attendants. I think the urgency and immediacy in the tone of her voice gives a "you is gonna die if you don't do this"-feel to it.

  • This flight attendant was only doing her job at keeping everyone on board safe! I applaud her!

  • Instead of thanking the crew for saving their lives and keeping everything out of a mess, they critisize her.

    What dicks.

  • Who the hell would travel with an aircraft, fuck its just suicide man dont tell me now about traffic accidents just look at the fucking people in there all going to die like sheeps.

  • @Metalicalypse Millions of people per year. And how the hell do you think driving is much safer than flying? every single time you drive by someone on a 2 lane highway you're just a couple inches away from smashing yourself into another car at 70MPH

  • @scribblesomeone Its not about driving a car, when driving at least youre on the ground and if the all drivers respect the rules carefully like how pilots do on their aircraft then it will be 95%Safer though, the people are just idiots who doesnt care about the rules.

Its still much safer than being in the air in a 900000 pounds metal giant smashing on the ground at 180-250MPH.

  • @Metalicalypse 1) Do all drivers respect the rules? Didn't think so...so why bring that point up?

    2) When was the last time you were in an airliner crash?

    3) You don't "smash into the ground"

    4) You're an idiot...please do the world a favor and shut up. You're probably one of the people that make roads more dangerous.

  • @Metalicalypse Apples and oranges. You can't really compare a car having engine problems with a plane crash. The car accident equalent of a plane crash (one where the plane is flying into the ground) is like losing control of your car on the highway and crashing in to the concrete pillars of a bridge. Sure, I'd rather be in a car with engine problems than a plane with engine problems but planes are safe, we just only hear about the bad accidents.

  • @Metalicalypse Your stupidity is painful.

  • @Metalicalypse there are literally 10s of thousands of flights that occur a day and yet a crash only occurs about 2 times a month, and out of the ones that do crash, only 1/50 of them are fatal. Air travel is a lot safer than driving a car even. I'd know because i have been in a car crash, and im also a frequent flyer.

  • what she done was a little over the top, if your in a situation (deadly) and someone is shouting loudly at you, you will panic more, if like the pilot said, brace for landing very calmly passengers are going to feel more secure and comforted by the calmness in the person who is actually flying the plane's voice?

  • Cool the landing gear is fucked up, and a bitch is ragging at you too. Maybe the pilot told her to fuck off and let him land so she bothered the passengers instead lol.

  • Well the chant is there for those people who dont have a clue of how to control their panic. She was just trying to make it sink in xD

  • well that was nice of those passengers to insult the flight attendant like that, the idea of that nerve racking chant is to insure you dont get injured or you know die in the event of an aircrash....

  • What a great thing to know that when needed, the flight attendant's training kicked in precisely as it should have and EXACTLY as she was trained
