  • nvidia cards are better

  • @GameBenchers If you going to go to the trouble of calling yourself "game benchers" then do it the right way. People remarking about your methods aren't the trolls, it's useless as a bench unless you provide some information. Look at any of the thousands of benchmarking sites on the internet. Either do it right or change the video title. People looking up benchmarks aren't interested in a gameplay vid.

  • "System: The Beast" I lold

  • im getting this card :D I have to! my current PC runs it smoothly but at 1024x720 i think at 1900x1200 it drops down to like 17. I have a crossfire setup with 4890...

  • is this on all very high settings?

  • Hmm, looks like my ass.

  • typical of crytek, you start off in a jungle island, then monsters come out and ruins it.

but unlike far cry 2 which is all human crysis 2 is all alien bad gays.

  • can i have this computer im poor lol 600 dollars for just the card thats crazy nice video btw

  • is that the real life sis mode ?

  • I had the same gfx card and it is gud for any game

  • What CPU is pushing that GPU?

  • lol they made that logo for free

    just google "logo maker".

    XD

  • FPS?

  • Well im wanting to buy this card but im just curious if it can run pacman? please reply!

  • @jbugz209 unfortunately neither nVidia nor Ati have come out with a card that can get decent performance in pacman I was running two 5970's in crossfire and still only managed about 12 fps average

  • We´ll see, if it can run Crysis 2 ...........

  • Will a single, non-overclocked HD 5970 combined with a Core i7 and 6GB of RAM run Crysis Warhead on enthusiast settings 1024x768 and 0x AA with a very smooth frame rate?

  • gonna buy this card next week! =)

  • You call it a benchmark yet you show no actual stats that one can see. That is why people are upset. For all we know you could of ran this in 800x600.

  • why is everyone giving this vid so much crap, its not hard to run crysis anymore, i have a laptop with a mobile 5870 and it runs great, "fake" give me a break, what did he do, prerender it? lol...

  • Is a Corsair TX850 850W PSU enough for a single HD 5970?

  • nice card.. but damn it man i hate crysis..

  • You got smoked at the end!

  • No machine specs in the description, no fps in the corners. Nothing you've presented is valid. According to the angel on my left shoulder: "You are EPIC FAIL", while the demon on the other shoulder wants me to... "Repeatedly deliver blows to your fucking face. B-( " You've been trolled. Dx

  • @JohnnyX151 Honestly, I find all these comments amusing. I "lol" every time a troll comes along thinking he's the savior of all people watching this video by deeming the video "fake" or "gay". I mean, do you really envy me that much? It's only a $2500 computer. Get a job and save up for one. Then you can come on Youtube and post "fake" and "gay" videos like myself. Maybe we can do a collab video or something. We could start a channel called "FakeAndGayPCVideos". It will be a hit for sure!

  • @GameBenchers seriously? why the hell is that so choppy? methinks you need to audit running processes and services if this is real.

  • @GameBenchers Hashahahahaha best comeback ever :)

  • @JohnnyX151 so what? watch the vid or fuck off

  • @JohnnyX151

    Fuck AMD fake!!!

  • he is drunk i think and having a lot of fun while recording this Stupid ass calling gameplay a benchmark

  • always put FPS

  • nice vid

  • Are the Graphics cranked up to max on that? It doesn't seem as good as some benches I've seen.

  • I think the Nvidia is better than this..cuz the leaves in the plants in the background dosnt seems much thicker than Nvidia graphics. i think almost the map is there

  • Fucking shitty vid, put FPS on the corner fuck. You fucking call this benchmark?

  • @itchyfingers89 Nobody told you to watch it, and nobody asked for your opinion. Don't like it? Well, to put it as eloquently as you do; fuck off.

  • @GameBenchers haha you tell him buddy looool

  • @GameBenchers

it can't be that good if it the frames are low with fraps.

  • @itchyfingers89 chill man he had fps at the end

  • HD 5970 The Best Card video

  • @MrB1rdman lucky guy

  • @MrB1rdman

    LOL

for the forseeable 5 years. DX 10 is here to stay baby, dx11 can gtfo

  • @MrB1rdman

Lol you stupid fool. Taken in by marketing when any card above a 4870 could perform just as well for this generations games.

    I pity you fool.

  • i7?

  • Wow, I would tget this card If I could earn this kind of money, I mean its 700 bucks. Its a little to much.

  • fraps will decrease the fps of any game

  • too bad this card is out of my price range but its nice to look at =)

  • don't see why this game is considered so "great" other than maybe the visuals . . . gameplay looks average . . . rather play Fallout 3, to each his/her own I guess.

  • @NassimHarameinVedas it's the storyline and graphics. People mainly use this game as a benchmark for gaming capability. Multi player is trash

  • @planetofpoo <=== Fair enough, to each his/her own like I said : )

There is no denying that Crytek made mistakes with the "coding" and/or "programming" of this game though. The fact that it took so many years for a single-gpu solution to come out that can play it at a mere 45fps . . . think about it.

Crysis is really old, yet it takes 5970 in crossfire mode to play this game over 60fps . . . how inefficient is this game really? It's not a benchmark in my mind. More like pain in the ass.

  • @NassimHarameinVedas Not so much a pain in the ass, but more like a marketing technique. Graphic whores will most definitely want to play this at highest settings and largest resolution. It is playable with my ATI Radeon HD 3750 at lowest settings and 20 FPS lol. It's not so much in efficient, but more like a great deal of unneeded effort.

  • lol i got 48 Min with my 5850 CF MAX GOT 80

  • Very good.

When Crysis 2 come out, I want to see how much HD 5970 can handle the game. =D

  • still lags like hell...:)

  • cya

  • This isn't a benchmark, this is Gameplay. Doesn't even show FPS, and poster doesn't show the computer specs and expects us to go to another vid to find out just that instead of posting it in the comments section, Run a benchmark and post your specs or just change the title.

  • This was a benchmark, we posted the results at the end of the video if you made it that far. Just because we don't show the frames in the upper left or right corner doesn't mean it's not a benchmark. We use Fraps to record all our footage. For anyone that has used Fraps before would know that you cannot benchmark and screen capture at the same time. We could use camera's to record, but that wouldn't look good. So we do two runs of the same level instead. One benching and one screen capturing.

  • Also, for the system specs. We make videos for a reason. It's not that hard to click on "More From: GameBenchers" and find the video we made on this particular system. We only have 25 videos. I assure you it's not hard to find it. ;)

  • You're wrong lol, I can tell you've been using Fraps for a little while only. You can record and set the overlay hot key to be visible as well, I use fraps a lot.

Also why would I visit your channel at all if I wanted to view benchmarks of the 5970? If you dont post your comp specs hoping people will visit your channel just to add more "channel views" youll just make'em mad, Oh and once again this is NOT a benchmark at all, this is gameplay, use the Crysis Warhead benchmark utility thank you.

  • You're not getting my point. By doing a screen capture and showing the frames while I'm recording would be stupid. It's not an accurate display of the actual frames you would be getting in the game. You'll be displaying the frames you'd be getting while you're recording. Fraps uses a LOT of resources. It cuts your frames by 50% in most cases. Also, we did our part on system specs. If you're too lazy to click the mouse a few times to view the video, it's your problem.

  • @GameBenchers I understand your point GameBenchers but this is NOT a benchmark. Come on people all the youtubers want you to put your system specs and a FPS overlay on top ov the video. I think the work you already do is good but it can be waaay better. This is not a "hate" comment!!! I just want to give you my opinion because i've seen a lot of benches and the word "Benchmark" by itself demands showing your system specs and what fps you get in realtime.

  • @ReSpaWn3d7 Check out my COD MW2 video. I did exactly that and more and received less than 500 views. ;)

  • @GameBenchers so it's all about the views... btw this is kinda gameplay video

  • @ReSpaWn3d7 When you spend 8+ hours putting together a video like my MW2 video; yes it's about the views.

  • @panflutelistener

hallo! the ati 5970 does not need a benchmark! everbody knows, this card will devour every pc-game, even crysis!

  • @myoelas GTX 480 outperforms HD 5970 in dx 11 games because nvidia is optimized for DX 11 but has slower performance than HD 5970 in DX 10 games, does anyone want DX 10?, go for GTX 480 but it consumes much more power.

  • @GameBenchers Is this just one card or crossfire??

  • the rest of your system?cpu?mobo?ram?oc?etc...

  • @kontizas7 why dont you check the tags!

  • already did but he doesnt say which mobo, ram,oc,rest of his system specs...only cpu and graphic card...

  • Our latest video we uploaded is a system update. It lists everything you want to know. ;)

  • nice vid

but you should really run fraps in the corner so we can see the true FPS

  • nice card and lol's at 1:27, "twenty to thirty ground units and six to seven air SHIT" never heard of air shit before, but it must be pretty bad Dx

  • hahha

  • And it STILL LAGS

  • Why do you use those crosshairs? They look terrible :)

  • I do not belie ve your using a 5970 due to the fact of the way the gaame is running I saw many other gamers with 5970 flying around the map full graphics...hd

  • What you choose to believe (or not believe) is your choice. I'll just have you know that you are wrong and this is indeed running on a 5970. I don't know why Youtube is filled with pessimists. We're not all "fake and gay".

  • It's just i have seen the 5970 in action.

I have seen videos posted by other gamers with the card and the graphics and smooth gamplay and they are flying around the map with ease.

Yours seem to lack the graphics and speed of the 5970 if you have one then your not showing it properly. Watch efaco5 videos and you'll understand what i'm saying his are exellent.

  • if u look it also says using the 8.66 beta 5 drivers so this isnt running at its full potential at the time of the video.

  • haha i watch'ed efacr5's video as he posted them, i learned a lot.

  • @hl2ep3 efacr5 is a pretty cool guy with some cash in his pocket............

I myself am buying the 5770 Saphire regular video card x 2 Cross fire..

They are cheap and really fly with nice eye candy.

  • @GameBenchers

I realize your comment is old, but I need to comment on your... comment.

85% of the Internet's users are homophobic, Asperger-ridden 13-year-old boys that honestly have nothing better to do than claim superiority over anyone they feel is a threat in any way, shape or form.

  • @Lolwtfrudoin only 85% i was thinking more than 99%

  • don't use fraps ! Recording with your cam Fraps recorded with 30 fps :(

  • The camera records in 30FPS as well. I feel sorry for those of you that are Frapsing the Youtube video to determine the FPS that we're getting in the game. In which case, 99.99999999% of all gaming videos are "fake".

  • Let me say this first: This video is not a fake I know!

But it's not the same if fraps records a video with 30fps or a handcamera with 30 fps!

    Think about it. ;-)

    Ah, yeah nice vid btw.

  • Will an overclocked i7 920 to 3.2 ghz work really well with 3 gb ( 1333mhz) for a single 5870?

  • you should get about 30 fps so yes :D

  • Yes, but more RAM would really help, if your using Vista, it eats up most of your RAM just idling.

  • @megawatcher2 Yes, very well :)

  • where's the fps?!

  • Hey you think there will be any bottlenecking going on between a AMD Phenom II X4 965 BE and a 5970??

  • nope you'll be fine

  • This is the most graphics-easy level in the game.. My laptop's mobility 4650 can run this level fluently on very high.. You should try one of the ice levels or the first level for benchmarking, as those put a lot more stress on the gpu.

  • this is dumb... it is just a gameplay not a bench

  • this card is unstoppable .... duude , game developers must come with higher rez :))

  • Aww, do you know if an i7 860 will as well?

  • @RKODest1ny

im getting one for xmas, in fact it runs better with the amd processors (because ati is owned by amd) so yep.

  • Will an i5 750 bottle neck this card? The i5 isn't overclocked, thanks.

  • @OMGitsSHAHN Depends on the resolution but in most games, your i5 will bottom out before the 59700 will.

So yeah, it will bottle the card but all games should hit 60 for you (maybe gta4 wont)

  • what about a i5 750 OC to 4ghz??

  • @nightfox272 GtaIV would be necked pretty hard but most others would be alright

  • whats so crazy about gta 4 haha?

  • shittiest port in history man, it's a fucking disgrace

it requires a fucking beast of a cpu for 60fps and you can't even crank viewdisance without 2G of gpu ram

  • bad coding?? o well, wasnt a game i was gonna play anyway, im getting the i5 750, hd 5850 for christmas

  • Yea, even the top of the line cpu's have slight problems. I have a phenom x2 overclocked black edition at 3.8ghz and it doesnt seem to increase much.

  • @nightfox272

it would be faster than any stockclocked cpu available. you cant possibly need more performance in any existing game and the ones to come are gonna be built to run maxed on stockclocked i5s, so its pretty futureproof.

  • maybe i need to clarify, i meant when you overclock to 4ghz. just think of all the people still using overclocked Q6600s. thats about whats gonna happen with the i5-750.

im probably getting a similar PC after the new nvidias come out (not that i want to buy one, but theres gonna be a pricedrop then).

  • thanks, good to know, hopefully game developers can actually achieve that. thanks for reply.

  • probly

  • I'm not really sure of the specifications on the HAF 922. The 5970 is 12.5 inches long, so it's a big card. Measure the inside of your case, specifically where your PCI-e slots reside. Measure off your current cards, and see how much more space you can handle. I'd try to factor in minimum an inch of playroom, preferably 2 or 3.

  • I'm assuming you're talking about the Phenom X3's? In any case, it will bottleneck the card greatly. You're better off doing an overall upgrade of your system with the $650 you'll spend on the 5970 alone. You can do a lot with $650 if you already have the case, PSU, and HDD's.

  • BEST DUDE I WANT THIS GAME lol im getting a gaming computer this christmas
