Reminds me of the cat we used to have. Black with white paws and white chest, and bright green eyes. She was a lovely, friendly cat, had her for 14 years, she was only 1 year old when we bought her. She sadly died of old age back in 1998. She would jump up onto my lap and purr for ages before settling for a nap. I still think of her today. Sorry to hear about beeper. Why was she put down?

Oh, And he was put down? So so sorry. Our cat has just turned 9. You must have had Peeper for a long time. I know I would miss my cat-I've had him since he was 5 months old. Best wishes and deepest sympathies. They aren't just pets. They are part of the family. <3

Your cat was even purring! So jealous. My cat doesn't sleep on me, but likes to sleep against me. :) Sometimes she will sleep on my lap, but I'm a really ticklish person so I can't stand it. XD

And sorry to hear of Peeper's death. :( He seems real great.

@issyvoo2 Really sorry for your loss. The cat in the video, Peeper, had to be put to sleep in 2010 due to cancer. I have another cat who is just as affectionate as Peeper and who my wife and I love very much. When you're ready, you will find another cat. I know how difficult the loss of as pet can be.

I had been mourning the loss of my 16 year old cat for almost a year when I found two abandoned kittens on the side of the road. They've been with me for six years now and they are both the most affectionate kitties I've ever had!

@lululapeache I am indeed trying to follow my heart. I'm trying to give my remaining cat, who is sixteen, all my attention now in way he never got when my other cat was still here. He's not as affectionate but I think he does appreciate it. He sleeps with me now and he never did that before.

@issyvoo2 I'm so sorry about your loss. I lost my cat of 13 years a few years back. It hit me hard because I grew up with her. My family got her when I was just 2. However, my sister has gotten two new cats, and I've fallen in love with them too. :) Cats are great animals.

My 14lb tabby named "Toffee" jumps up on my stomach while I am watching tv and for about 5 minutes kneads my stomach til it hurts. Then she snuiggles with me until I rub her head and back. After about 15 minutes of that, she is ready to jump down and go in her bed! Cats are so cool...

i cant adopt a cat because my husband is sooooo heavily allergic! he loves cats too, but we tried many things, nothing works. therefore whenever I watch cat videos, I envy those people who are soooo lucky to share their homes with these beautiful creatures :)

@joelzenny we have tried almost everything; shots, pills, alternative medicine, acupuncture .. Nothing works, he's got many other types of allergy too, doc says theres no cure :( We have tried to adopt once, , but soon after she arrived my husband began to cough and had difficulty in breathing, then we had to take our cat back to the shelter. We have heard of a non medical Korean practice for allergy patients, I guess we'll try it in a few weeks. wish us luck!

@etinegro how about giving your cat fish oil tablets? just prick and squeeze the goo into cat's mouth. i dont know exact dosing though. i myself am allergic to cats and i own one. when i first had my Mocha for 2 months, my eyes were watery, nose stuffy, coughing....it was unbearable even with anithistamines. i cleaned daily, brushed her daily, used anti-allergen cat solutions on her (which helped very little) but nothing helped. ....Continued....

@learningthis1 i've never heard of this, are we talking about the usual fish oil tablets that, for example, people swallow daily to get some omega 3 & 6, those which are sold at pharmacy? does that help coping with cat allegy?

whiteface: walked down the street one day turned around meowed in my direction and walked away and i never saw him again :(

mitts: my kitten was hit by a car when he was playing with his mother socks.

socks: got preagnet and we have to give her away

Yup. Post more vidz if possible. I love affectionate cats! If they would allow pets in my apartment complex I would so go to the local ASPCA and rescue one of those furry creatures :-)
