  • I love this song.

  • SUPER, super, super. Just love Milton's opening lines,

'Now listen folks it is no joke on a Piccolo'- great!!

  • As i read this three "boxes" are on the screen one playing"balloons",one"hits of 1927"and this!!!"flip"side coming tomorrow.

  • Billy Milton was a huge star of Musical Comedy so this all fits well into place. I wouldnt mind getting hold of his 1976 Autobiography somtime. This record is utter pleasure.

  • The Dominion Theatre was opened on 3rd of October 1929,the opening show i think was "Follow Through".

  • Does this sound like Billy Milton to anyone?

  • Gosh, you are good!A very good friend of mine dated this for me recently, and it was recorded Nov 18th 1929,vocalsit Billy Milton!

  • I see it is one of those wonderful 'Super Dance' Broadcasts!

  • Did you ever hear Pete go tweet tweet tweet on his Piccolo?, Yes! and these boys make a refreshing change to the great Mr. Hylton. Love the magazines, especially 'Tangee'!. Is this record on Broadcast label?

  • Did you ever hear joe go oh oh oh on his old French horn though,i hadnt! Its good to hear an alternative to the well known versions isnt it i agree.

  • It's FANTASTIC, what a disc!

  • Indeed, I considered Weems' version one of the best, but this is notably better!

  • Info for 85scampi,but the lady modeling 1930 swimwear on the first page is your "hometown"girl who "did good" in Hollywood,Dorothy Macail.More pics elsewhere of her and she was certainly doing well in 1930!
