  • Hey guys. can anyone help me out with the key command to add the same plugin to multiple tracks in the mix window? Takes a long time adding them one by one.

  • @YungTuckthaCount Easy engouh. Select all the tracks you want to add the very same plugin to. then hold option + shift and insert the plugins on whichever of these selected tracks.

  • @MrJazzeman I do not think there is one by default. However, you can assign in your keyboard preferences in your system preferences.

  • hey do u guys know if there is a key command to create a new playlist on your selected track. Im tired of having to click on the track name and selecting it with the mouse.

    control + \ for new playlist

    control + cmnd + \ for duplicate playlist

    also ctrl + opt + \ to create new playlist on all tracks.

    I have learned sooo much.

    But im running ProTools on a PC and the Ooption+Command+H does is not translating to PC and I cant find the Mac Or PC version of this command in the ProTools shortcut PDF. Can any1 help me?

  • @DocPicklez This is usually how it translates from Mac to PC

    Option => Alt

    Command => Control

    Control => Start (windows)

  • A BIG THANKS!! for taking time out for this video on short cuts...can u help me with one thing, I cant function any shortcuts that has to do with the arrow keys...i have an imac numkeyboard

  • You have to have the smart tool (multi tool) engaged. To do so, you can press F6 + F7 simultaneously or click on the small bar above the trimmer, selector and grabber tools icons.

    Then, depending on where you mouse hovers on the audio, it will adapt itself. Ex: trim on the edges, grabber in the middle etc...

  • How do you toggle between edit tools, i.e. handgrabber, I-bar selector, etc?
