Sketch UP - Library Space Demo

can someone help me out? i'm looking for a program similar to google sketchup. i can't remember what it's called exactly, but i know the second half of the word is -cat. like...sketchcat or something...but not

if i have a surface coloured in blue what does it mean?

basically its facing the wrong way. you can right click on the surface and reverse it to get it to appear white.

I use Sketch Up for my projects, it's mega easy. Unlike 3DsMax or Maya, anyone can use this program. The graphics could be better, but it serves its purpose!

On the Sketchup prinsipal menu

where it says "file""edit""view""camera"etc.­..

Click on "view"-

then on "toolbar"-

then click on "Google"

when the "Google" toolbar appears,

click on the box with a YELLOW arrow pointing OUT of the box.

I have Sims 2! How do you rotate objects? You know, just a little bit to the left or right, not upside down or anything like that. If its not too much to ask could you make a little 15 second video that shows what to do? Nothing elaborate, but I understand if you don't want to. :)

Thanks for your comments. I actually liked the program long before Google bought them out, but I am glad they did because Google made it free. In the Library World we need programs like this to help share design ideas--- CAD drawings are not part of our skill set. Thanks again for expressing yourself. You sure make Australia proud! Oh and PLEASE keep that Foster's crap out of the United States-- it's worst than Corona, seriously.
