  • Someone Make A Beatless Ambient Version Of This Song!!! :D

  • search for reactivate on torrent etc, This is from reactivate 10 i think. Its a cracking trance disk with more like this stunner!!!

  • This tune is one that will stay with me forever. It's been remixed soo many times but you always keep comin back to the original...definitely worthy of the description of classicooo!!

  • Matt Darey is the man.

  • Oakie used to smash this back in the day!

  • Oakie used to smash this back in the day!

  • anyone notice 123 likes, and 0 dislikes? quality trance baby

  • class

  • Simply one of the best dance records of all time

  • Im 23 and from CA, and I remember trance when it sounded like this. Simply amazing and I'm so glad the internet was around for me to experience this music when I was younger. Sometimes I feel like the only one from my generation who appreciated this style of trance.

  • Back when trance was trance

  • Subsequently licensed to Deconstruction records too. Tidy tidy track - used to great effect by Paul Oakenfold in his Goa Essential Mix on R1 19/03/94 too. BITD!

  • Lots of elements from this put into the Gamemaster tune. Very good.

  • THEY ARE REALLY SPACED OOOOOOOOUT !!! :D

    best track ever !

  • When I uploaded this video 2 years ago, I never thought that people will give this upload the time of day. Here's an interesting story.. I actually bought this record for the A Side - as that was the more 'house' tune the nightclubs would play in south beach florida back in 1994. No one down here played the b-side. The DJs wanted too, but the crowd were demanding house and not trance music. I remember that during this time "Red 2" by Dave Clark was a HOT record for the trance crowd.

  • @housemixes top trak always waited for this 1 at the end of the night when i went crazy shame they don`t make em like this anymore!!!!!

  • @housemixes Yeh that was kicking in the u,k in 93/94 when e,s were e,s and weed was weed. :) The 1st i heard it was at a friends house, after having an e, lying spaced out and i can just mind hearing that female backing vocal, fucking awesome the hair on ma neck was standing . I,ve tried from then till now to get this mix ! top notch, and i,m 70,s fan lol

  • @scooby180169 when e's was E, those daze are gone now and its a shame...good times though!

  • @scooby180169 Don't know if you've already tried them but HTFR.com here in the UK have it in stock right now. By the way, I'm not spamming for them, just letting you know lol

  • @iphone4caseify I,m unaware of it mate could you enlighten me please ? is it like real E,zs lol. thanks scooby

  • @housemixes thank you very much..... i love it

  • "...really spaced out..."

  • another great tune from the early nineties, shame it was only a b-side on an otherwise shamefully camp trance 12", trust me. should have been the main track

  • I gripped my knees a few times blowing up to this one back in the day, lol.hammer jacks and parthenon, and I also heard it at hyperspace in o town.We will never get those days back again but its nice to listen and groove on how fuckin cool we were,lol...

  • @geodroyal38

yeah, I remember blowin up to this one at Hammerjacks too...and parthenon...one of my favorite old sckool tracks for sure...

  • Ok, this is one of my favorite classic old sckool songs...luv luv luv this!

  • I'd recommend

Union Jack - Two Full Moons and a Trout (14" Mix)

Space Manoeuvres - Stage One (Seperation Mix)

    Chi-A.D. - Exit Eternity

    Blue Planet Corporation - Crystal

imho these fit the ethereal, floating vibe of this tune better than most other recommendations (which are also very good music; <3 mahadeva <3).

  • This song was the hot fire here in FL back in the day for sure... Great upload.

  • @infloslinger agreed...in Orlando and Tampa...old sckool

  • pretty cutting edge 1994

  • Fantastic!!! old school at its best.

  • GOD DAMNIT WHERES THE BREAK BEAT VERSION!!!

  • This is why I love trance!

  • great tune reminds me of the days jumping about in fields to proper trance.!!!!!

  • Fantastic tune, I think its ancestry may lie in 'Cerrone - Supernature' and 'Space - Magic fly'

  • Unbelievably brilliant tune. Electronic simulation of an MDMA rush. Perfect.

  • i was like 4 yo wen this song was released ....but this is the real trance with the soul..sadly its all taken over drum n base n other lod noises ppl called music .....

  • forgot to mention - i literally fell out of my skin when i first heard this on Pete Tong's friday "religious" night show...

  • 7:49 is the time to down your favourite "poison"(drink) and let the feet fly!

  • what a classic love to be on a dance floor with this a propper (not gunna say old tune) think it`s still up there with the best.....no it is the best!!!!!!!

  • stz03, basically there are no tunes like this, it is totally unique. But make sure you get the all time classic reactivate 10 mix by blu peter (which has this) and get reactivate 11, 12, and carl cox FACT as well. Also look for anything 90's by jon the dentist. you will never listen to post 2000 trance again :)

  • @EscapeMCP Thanks man, will do, but I doubt that I'll have such a dramatic switchover!

  • stz03:

Sasha & Maria - Be as One

    In fact anything by Sasha

Anything by BT(Flaming June, Godspeed, Dreaming)

Anything by Breeder (Twilo thuder, The chain)

Blue Amazon - No other Love

    Lustral - Everytime

    Lost Tribe - Gamemaster

    The list is endless....

  • @shabalidakdak Thank you for the nice tunes, heard only the Flaming June by BT long long ago, hope the rest are as good or better.

  • This is me then ...

  • Can anyone suggest some similar artists/songs like this from the early trance days, prior to 1999? Really getting into this as of lately... Thank you so much!

  • @stz03

    Astral Projection - Mahadeva

    Hallucinogen - LSD

    Zenith Nadir - My Odyssey

    erm

    Armin - Blue Fear

Energy 52 - Cafe Del Mar (remix by 3 In One, imho)

    Hardfloor - Acperience

off the top of my head... but yeah this is one of THOSE tunes...

  • @BenQdamnit Thanks man, only heard Armin's Blue Fear and the Cafe del Mar dune, the rest I will check out now.

  • @stz03

    Hehe also try...

    Cybernaut - Califrae

    Lab 4 - Reformation (1 or 2, can't remember)

DJ Mind-X - The Nightingale (The Suspicious Remix) (I reckon you'll love this one)

  • Heard this on oaky's 2010 Goa mix, wicked tune!! I was still into d n b n oldskool in 94 got into trance in 97, you can tell so much that this is dareys got some gamesmaster in it and the vocal is also used on From russia with love.. CLASSIC's What ever happened to Matt then?

  • I heard this on my first and perhaps best trance mixes ever Deeper Euphoria mixed by Matt Darey I think Oakenfold does the other side. Classic...

  • top track SUPERB!!!!

  • I have the 12" single. Side A: I Need A Man (Seka Mix), I Need A Man (Accapella). Side B: I Need A Man (Euro Boy Mix), Point Zero.

    Just Awesome!

  • -d[-_-]b-

  • It doesn't get any better!

  • Simply one of the best track EVER! Unreachable.

  • Fits well with gamemaster

  • Wow, this tune is older than me! [I was born in 1995 btw]

One of the best Trance as all time!

  • You missed the best days mate, 1992 Acid house Rave is the daddy, I guess you into Trance, Trance is dead buddy.

  • @Power2Eliminate Yeah, I can see the difference of today's Trance and oldies Trance, I'm into newer Trance though, but I listen to oldies, too, and it still sounds fresh!

  • I believe Dance to Trance-We came in peace is defined as ONE of the first trance records, this came way after.

  • @skunkus1 one off them yes but i beleive klf have the honours from back in 1988

  • could be me, but is Fromn Russia With Love (also by Matt Darey) not exactly the same track?

  • My favorite track of the '90s

  • Matt Darey is Li Kwan & Lost Tribe.......this was one of the first trance records

  • @cusisangel I remember that evening back in 1994. ;)

  • Stanlow, same here mate! Hazy 90s indeed lol... great track thanks for posting...

  • 7:51 - 8:19 sample. I always thought that was the next tune fading in on an old Oakey mix. B nice if the sample was longer and sequenced a few times through the whole tune. Remix idea!

  • Paul Oakenfold - Essential Mix @ The Goa 18-12-1994? :)

  • Hah, been wonderin about this record for years. Used to have it on reactivate 10 but lost that during the rather hazy mid 90,s.....WHAT A TUNE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • yesssss ,, finally after years of searchin ii now have this on viynall ,,,,,mix it up ,,it dont half mix well with this love by red sun .....the version i just bought is on deconstruction??????

  • can someone explain how this was ever the b side ,,,,,,compared to such a crap a side

  • @djclubuk true true, but I often wonder that! Love those obscure tracks that turn out to be killers

  • this really sounds like its a mix by lost tribe ,,,,,,,

wat a tune ,,,this was on abduction cd ,,the best mix ever

  • Top bit of trance! None of that cheesy shit you get nowadays!!

  • Brilliantly timeless tune, still easily Matt Darey's finest work to date. Even more amazing that this was his first official release.

For those who don't know, the "You should see some of the kids that come in here, they're really spaced out" sample is lifted from the documentary movie "Woodstock" (1970).

  • how did u find that out

  • I saw the movie years ago and had an "oh i know that line from somewhere" experience. Get that alot while watching movies which have had dialogue sampled in music. Then i went through some tunes i thought might include it and luckily this was it. As simple as that really. :)

  • I believe that "you wouldnt believe some of the kids who come around here, theyre really spaced out" is from Woodstock.

  • Fantastic...what a tune. Like the other poster said, this tune will never get boring, tacky or what ever. Pure timeless class!!

  • Wow! They're really spaced out! What a tune. I aint heard this version since Pete Tong had it as his essential new tune on Radio 1 back in 1994. I LOVE IT!!

  • @trancebunny3000 Pete Tong's Got the POWER!!!!!!!!

  • @trancebunny3000 if not the best trance track it is in the top5 easily!!!!

  • One of the greatest trance classics ever! Very hypnotic and moody, one of the never-gets-boring track. Leama & Moor's 2004 version is also quite interesting, but nothing can beat the original.

  • do you have the A side?

  • Yes, i do. I own the pressing on Seka records. Will hopefully get that one up here soon... Thanks for commenting.

  • @Dejection55 TOTAL CLASS WHAT A TRACK!!!!!
