Thank you so much! As an FTM this has definitely helped me a lot. I don't have a guy as in a dad or anyone around who could teach me how to shave 'correctly,' and especially not any that know about the difference between masculine, feminine/coarse, soft faces and hair.
I honestly cannot thank you enough. I'm a female, but somewhere between messed up hormones and heritage, I have facial hair that grows like a man's. I don't know why I didn't look for videos like this sooner; so far you are the only one that's put a real video out there that might actually help! Now I might not have to choose between breaking out or having smooth skin. Thank you so so much! =)
Thank you so much for this step-by-step. I haven't had any males in my life I'm close enough too, to ask for shaving tips since I was like 12. And shaving hurts like a SOB everytime I have to do it I dread it. I'm gonna try this tomorrow. Thank you so much!!!!
@corbino2007 If you’re going call me "it", the least you could do is come up with a sensible insult to go with it. All your comment does is shows that you’re rude AND an idiot.
thank you for this video. i'm only a drag queen, but this is so helpful considering my facial hair is very thick and i have sensitive skin. so fucking helpful. many thanks!!!!
I am a transsexual woman (male to Female). WHO I am (heart mind and soul) is and always has been female.
I am miss-matched on a neurological / physiological level. This is not a psychological problem. I was born with a male body and a female brain. I have chosen to live as the woman I truly am, rather than pretend to be a “normal man”.
Seriously. When I saw this video, I thought, "yeah right, I have really really thick/dark hair at this point, there's no advice you can give me, girl."
But I watched and tried it out. To this point, I just tried the Shea Butter Soft Soap along with your technique and my own razor and --- like a miracle... MY SKIN IS SO SOFT! It's so soft, so visibly soft, that I am amazed. I have been using gels/cremes all my life and i should have been doing this!
@MsTransactivist yes, definitely. I was surprised. The Shea Butter Soft Soap in general kind of made my eyes tear up a bit... but overall, this method worked really well. Worth a shot --- and I have pretty thick hair now.
Im a MTF transsexual. I've only been on HRT for only almost 4 months. My hair still grow and if i dont shave for a day it gets really thick (AT least thats what i think) and it could be depessing. Fucked up how "hair" could have such a negative impact on your mental health, eh? So....are you a mtf or ftm?
do you have a video for shaving legs? or advice? ugh leg hair for me makes me feel so unattractive and sort of barbaric and i cant wear socks for long periods of time either. so i have decided to shave it all off....any tips?
The skin on your legs is a bit tougher so not using the OXY pads is OK. Use short strokes over the knee & watch out for the tendon that attaches to the outside ankle bone. It is VERY easy to cut the skin there. Other than that, same thing goes. Use a body wash and shave against the grain.
The first time I shaved my legs was long before hormones and it took three (double) blades to clear cut the forest! Also, if the hair is coarse it will probably itch like crazy when it starts to grow back

@YusefieIsCool This works for anyone with soft skin, and is a good idea especially if you have acne.

@KurtKennedy2133 No worries. I take the "look female" part as a compliment and the voice is not news.

@ MsTransactivist I am also MTF. I feel like the only permanent solution is laser hair removal or electrolysis...
