  • i am so suprised that normal things are so amazing for you XD

  • Americans of German origin ( Deutschstammige) still do this along with other German traditions.

  • chainsaw ?

  • wont be long before the americans will be doing this ,and then saying it"s a american thing ..

  • @mikesummers68 You Europeans can't watch a video without insulting Americans. It's quite pathetic.

  • @Dominick629

:( thats harsh... i am european and i watched it. i didnt read the comment you are reffering to but plz, no one should judge someone because they live on the same continent^^ thats like saying americans are nazis or asians are islamic extremists :)

  • @Dominick629 You americans cannot talk of another country without invading it...

  • excellent sawing.

  • That is "Baumstamm sägen" ('tree log sawing') and is a very old tradition, it is meant to show that the couple can work together forever.

  • @KittyIsAround you are a besserwisser, which refers to somebody who always wants to show what he knows without anybody requesting it

  • @tysken94 You mean like you just did ? ;)

  • @KittyIsAround excactly. you got me there, dude

  • @tysken94

in fact, i think it's interesting info that is not provided on the video

i would not get the meaning of this tradition without this explanation

    cheers

  • @KittyIsAround There are similar, but not exactly the same, traditions in other cultures too. Just as you said, it is to show the couples can handle things togather. For e.g., in a small indian community I come from, there used to be games between the bride and the groom following the ceremonial marriage oath. Most occassion the bride and the groom's friends make the bounty at the cost of the groom.

  • @KittyIsAround

    very beautiful concept

hehe - cutting wood at a wedding!

    cool stuff!

  • you're an IDIOT! If you cant appreciate other cultures, dont comment and GTFO!

  • This is practice to build the home as a couple

    long way to go :-)

  • for guys like you i wish we have a ww3. but not all poeple in this world stupid like you. and dont forget to call me a nazi.

  • was machen sie??
