Same here mate, only really push it on roads i know and plenty of early sensible braking on ones i dont :). Hoping to go for a trip up wales sometime in the cup, all the vids/pics of scenery and twisty b roads look epic!.
i also own a trophy, yes you will dick a civic type r, good motors but nowhere near as quick in the bends as a trophy.highly recomend 1 for some1 who wants a hot hatch, dont get much better than the trophy baby.
i use to own a clio 182 cup and a type r....the clio 182 is better at bends and just more more...u need to rev the civic to much to have fun..also which i fink is important the fact that u see loads of type r's about these days but very few clio 182 cup/trophy
I've just sold my Trophy to buy a DC 2 Integra strangely, I had a Traffic Light Grand Prix with an 03 Civic Type R and I was slightly quicker to about 70, then he pulled level and crept away. The extra 15bhp shows at higher speeds even with the extra 100kg the CTR is carrying. Forget all this though, the Trophy is a much better driver's car and quicker on track (or any bends). For more info on one of the best FWD cars ever made google cliotrophy, loads for sale at the moment.
Aye, they do, but I don't like to push a car too much on it's 'sniffing out' run. The video I took later in the day would be a breach of YouTube rules me thinks.

We will be running tours there this summer, I assure you the roads we hit have some corners thrown in for good measure!

been there today in my cyborg ZR bit corner shy mate! great road to drive on none the less!

It was very corner shy, it was my first run on it, I save proper driving for the track anyway, can't take racing lines on blind bends.

thats the beauty of the triangle thou because you can see so far ahead on the road's, track is ideal
