I liked it before Valve got hold of it when it was a free mod, better maps , better players. when you had to press a key for bandages of bleed out. then it turned into a game to sell to children... NOT the one that got questions asked in the houses of parliament about why did the SS dagger had a swastika on it... class

my tips:

Rifleman: sometimes camp, but mostly capture flags and destroy stuff

MG-Gunner: Camp Mostly in buildings, cover your team mates

Sniper: Camp in buildings, and be patient for kills

MP40/Thompson: Leaders of rifleman, give orders and capture and destroy stuff

Anti-tank: i havent played anti tank so much so idk

Not only that but if you usually end up dying from one hit from most weapons, I dont see the point of having rocket launchers. Splash damage is good and all but, people arent going to be pinned down in one spot for a long enough time for it to be mandatory. Plus all the vehicles in the game are either broken or purely cinematic, so that further takes away it's purpose. Not saying that the rocket launchers are BAD but just not very practical. We already have grenades for splash damage anyway.

@Poot94 You cannot really toss the grenades far and if you shoot them with a rifle they explode with a time lag (not as in the movie) that gives the snipers or mgs chance to get away before they explode. That is why sometimes it is convenient to use the rocket launchers.

The only problems I have with this game is the fact that when you get hit by just one bullet from any weapon, even the weakest ones, that either seriously wounds you or kills you altogether. The other problem is that the hitbox seems to be messed up. I have some fun playing it but I suppose it's all about who reacts faster. Also, the character's faces need to be animated. If it's realistic enough to get killed in one hit from a stray bullet, then it at least needs to have mouth movement.

It's only fun when you're good at it like any other game and based on your comment I'm guessing you're not very good. This game is far from dead and far from sucking.

Like I said, I bought RO hoping for an experience like to DOD but it never caught my interest. Too slow and outdated. Lacks the intensity found in DOD.

@Shizzer117 Oh and tonnes of people still play DOD. I'm pretty certain it has more players than RO. RO is really really slow paced, the graphics and animations are outdated, and I personally found it completely boring in comparison. DOD is really cinematic like this trailer, and you NEED to work as a team to secure areas. It's really satisfying. RO is more open based large maps while DOD is more urban combat in the streets and stuff, making it intense. It's intense but still requires skill.
