Well yes, sex is natural. Sexual advertising has also been used for a LONG time. The video is meant for a presentation I did. It's not about the fact that it's being used. It's the idea of how MUCH it's used-- and the fact that companies think they need to show Paris Hilton in leather washing a car-- to sell a burger.
You say that as if there's something wrong with using sex to sell. SEX IS NOT WRONG. Contrary to a lot of puritanical and fanatical Christian-based IDIOCY that sex harms people, it does not. And most adolescents don't understand sexual references, and when they learn to 'get it', they simply LEARN to 'get it' -- America needs to get over it's shame of the human body and sexuality. If anything needs to change, it's these Puritanical beliefs that make people think sex is bad.
I'm not sure it's not exactly a case of "WHAT ARE THESE BOOBS DOING ON MY TV THIS IS AN OUTRAGE." I don't agree with censorship either, but I do wonder what on Earth Paris Hilton washing a car in leather has to do with me eating at Burger King.
We don't have to condemn everything on TV- but we should question it
@ColonPal Theoretically (from how I understand it) when we get aroused at Paris Hilton, it triggers an emotional response, so we will feel that same response (with conditioning) in relation to that specific food. Now.. If Paris Hilton doesn't turn an individual on, or the individual understands the point of sex in advertising, it (Being sexual advertising) doesn't work as it should (especially if the individual is consciousness of healthy food choices) then it's just a willful cock tease.

Yes, it's great to question it, but one of the reasons advertisers USE sex to sell is because us humans LOVE sex and it DOES sell.
