Whats with those extra effects on Edge's guitar? Don't mean the echo and whatnot - thats a given - I mean that thing where it fades in and fades out? Whatever.. not a fan. Keep the classics as they are. They did some weird shit with Where the Streets Have No Name too on this tour.

Lastly - Last Night on Earth; they should bring that one back.

@andyboothismyhero You mean the Phaser? I think this is a pretty awesome version! It really fits in with the era. The whole experimentation that was going on in the 90's. That's what I really miss about U2, the experiments. They seem to have dropped that and went back to their roots. None of the past 3 albums are bad at all but they just don't have the same character as Achtung, Zooropa, and Pop do.

Little known fact: as Mofo ended with the cymbals, Larry dropped one of his sticks (at about the :03 to :04 mark of this clip) and quickly grabbed another and recovered in time to start I Will Follow with barely any notice, except he had to let Edge play another run of the intro. This is definately a pretty cool version of "I Will Follow" (one my favorite songs of all time). Edges effect (phaser) sounds so sweet. Adams bass is the weirdest I've ever seen though. All in all, pretty cool.

they had just finished arguably the best album and tour of the 90s and under alot of pressure to get the album and tour underway. We got an unfinished cd and a tour that was a bit over the top. I appreciate that tried to be "new" but popmart didnt do it for me.... Ive seen them before and after and this was the low point for me.

i may be wrong, but im sure that the whole popmart thing was somewhat berated in a large part of the music press.i think even the album got slated..,well i think pop is up there with the best stuff they've done,i f***ing love it!..and as for the gig, i was lucky enough to see a wembley show and it was everything you want in a stadium gig,excellent sound, blindingly colourful,full of gimmicks and massively over the top (i think they've earned the right!)it was awesome!!!

Both Edge and Adam have said they regretted what they did(especially Adam) and they have all said that they never used drugs or performed under the influence, so this coke comment is bullshit.
