  • These guys deserve to be inducted. It's a shame that some of the bands that worked the hardest in the sixties to earn a name for themselves aren't in The Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame.

  • Thanks for posting this interview........... very interesting facts and true that I find regarding how music industry changed so much from 60's up thru the 80's..... enjoyed this so much & needless to say from a genuine talent that Mark is....... Thanks again - SK

  • apparently smart; using words like stratification, visceral and repertoire, I could always tell he was a smart cookie but I didn't realize how well spoken he is until viewing this video.

  • This is an excellent interview and he was so right about the record bz

  • Few ex-rock-stars are this articulate. With all due respect to ML's as well as PR&R's musical talents, if a guy who used to lip-sync in tights and a pony tail can say that there's nothing left of music but production and gimmicks, there must be a problem. He's right for the most part; the '80s were a horrible decade for music. But I think there were more potentially good '80s songs that were ruined by cheesy production and fake instruments than bad ones that were saved by that stuff.

  • If the Raiders dont belong in the Hall of Fame then who does?

  • Thanks again Chris for another great interview! Great post! Ron

  • @rwells47 You're welcome Ron, and thanks for stopping by :D

  • Music has turned corporate just deals made by fat old excecutives, back in the 60's and 70's you had to have talent, some luck and timing. I don't agree with Mark's politics but his summary of music in the last 30-40 years is right on the money.

  • cool

  • Thank you so much for posting, Mark Lindsay has always been and will forever be my favorite singer, not only for his music, but as this interview portrays, also for his intelligence, personality and unfading handsomeness ( oh, yes, I could go on like this all night) Thanks again, it was a joy to view!

  • @cherijelibelly00 You're welcome and I agree 100% with everything you said :D

  • @cherijelibelly00 Great expressive singer and apparently a smart guy .

  • Great interview! I love seeing these rare interviews with him! I like to listen to him talk too, he has interesting things to say and his way of putting things is interesting to hear. :)

  • @wouldntyoulike2know Mark is very much the spokesperson/PR type...always knows the right things to say and how to say them during an interview. Reminds me of Chicago's Robert Lamm, my other 'love' of the past few decades!

  • @bze2nlz4 He is a great spokesperson. Absolutely agree with this! :)

  • Whoa!! Another Interview with Mark Lindsay!!! Right On!!

Favorite Songs With The Raiders: Just Like Me, Kicks, Hungry, Indian Reservation, Good Thing, All I Really Need Is You, Louie Go Home, Take A Look At Yourself, just to name a few.

Favorite Mark Solo: Arizona and Miss America.

    Thanks for posting this!

  • lol, Mark rags on eighties music.. and at the end I think you can hear a very eighties mark lindsay .. he succumbed himself ..go figure.
