  • I love your videos!!!

  • @RainbowNinjaCupcakes

thanks for the kind words, this was one of the first of my

    209 videos, so enjoy

    & keep safe

  • does this come in a knife form???

  • @kinfeman1213

yep, you can buy flint knives,

down side is they are brittle, brake easy.

unlike the scrapers are so small, that is not a problem

no handle and less than an inch long also destroys

    the G men's thought of a weapon.

basicly it is a flat pebble.

cheap way to buy one is to go to a torrist trap

and by a cheap flint arrow made in mexico

to see if you like them.

  • show off

  • @PENCILcrusher123

thanks for contact, hardly showing off both my daughter are better with a blade than I am. started them spinning when they were 5 years old. they are now grown.

anyway hope you can forgive this film was one of the first I ever made.

    keep you and yours safe.

  • Ok I will try it

  • @donze52 would a piece of obsidian work? As a scraper?

  • @Barncops

it chips easier, I life flint but try it, might have better luck than I

  • Thank you for the information.

  • @donze52 yeah it is really interesting! But is it legal to hunt arrow heads on your own land if you are part native American with out getting into trouble with the G men?

  • @Barncops

check your local, state and fed laws, never give a cop the right to destroy your life.

you can for a buck buy a modern made point, throw it on table with 4 real points from the past and experts cannot find the modern made compared with stone age made.dating can't prove how old a rock is.

    keep safe

  • @donze52 do you know where I could buy a flint scraper on the Internet?

  • @Barncops

you might hit a tourest trap as we call them,

    or rock shop.

if your testing the waters of flint

you might want an arrow head, less than a buck,

very small, like thumb nail size but still sharp and learn with safety from there

good luck. and study the stone age. nice hobby

  • ''you can shave with 'em'' great !!

  • @Pied777

Now I aint never done it, but do shave the hair off my arm

in demonstartions when I did a knife safety course.

    keep safe

  • I have to say that this is one very interesting video. Here in Australia we have those same laws about knives & concealed weapons. I believe it's okay to carry a samurai sword but not a fishing knife (could be wrong there). Either way I've found that when I need a knife it's elsewhere. Now your flint idea is certainly worth investigating. I also like the way you are trying to keep impressionable people out of the clinker. Well done to you Sir!

  • @BelloBudo007

now on the street for 28 years, I have many sad stories told by those fresh out of prison. Guards that act like Gestopo, and rape was much more common than

    anyone in government speaks of.

So yes, I try to keep the youth and everyone else from such a place.

    keep yourself safe.

  • Great idea, but I, being an idiot, will very quickly cut myself or, knowing my impeccable luck, have it cut itself out of my pocket.

I need something with a holding end, and a business end!

  • @greyspot00

I know thousands of people never met an idiot, bet your not the first either,

Just as you couldn't walk the first day your tried, you should take baby steps with blades, try an arrow head first, to get the feel and test for yourself it is quite safe in your pocket. plus an arrow point will be easy to say you found the rock, and without a handle few places would call it a weapons. but check local laws, never give a cop the right to destroy your life.

  • @donze52

My main concern is if it can slice through paper so easily, what is stopping it from tearing open a thin shirt pocket or pants liner? This sounds like an excellent idea, except for that one issue.

  • @greyspot00

you show wisdom looking ahead, my concern was the same some

30 years ago. however, maybe luck but year round, I carry a small piece of flint

size of thumb nail. does it cut shirts, some have gotten holes over years, but cannot put the blame totally on points, I carry.

as for cuts, if you are grabbing something in a bear hug, most likely have the flint may cause trouble. use common sence, perhaps till you trust it put it in a small leather pouch. thanks for your imput

  • Great video. I will have to give this a try. Thanks.

  • @deathmojito

just use safety and common sence,

stone age may be closer than we think

so get ahead of the crowd.

    have a healthy winter

  • Good vid, although in the United Kingdom of Idiots a rock scraper may be considered a fixed blade, however short. As the public in many "civilised" countries has their rights to bear arms slowly eroded away. Those countries goverments continue to increase the weapons carried by law enforcement and increase their public order powers - 1984 here we come.

  • @YOYOBOY666999

Sorry for your right to weapons, even a rock. I am working on the problem

for the worlds pubic. that is why i push the rock, no handle, dicitionary says

a knife is a blade over 1 inch long with handle:

but now I am working on another angle. My nighbor was in prison for a year for drinking and driving, it is a very dangerous and sad place. I do not want my kids of this or any town to be forced to live out their lives there. I do fear for their souls.

    thanks for contact

  • @donze52 I hear you man. That's the problem when civilisation takes over. To many people telling you what you can and cannot do. Bring back common sense and the Old Frontier days.

  • @YOYOBOY666999

I'd vote for you for president, but not withotu a bullet proof vest on

most likely they would want to do what they did to kennedy.

    keep safe

  • first of all, wtf does 'getting in trouble' mean, and just how much are we willing to sacrifice of our safety and utility (a quality of life issue imo) to make anal retentive idiots happy and avoid having a $30 item confiscated?

also laws differ from state to state, not to mention this being an international medium.

better advice would be: know your local laws and general attitude of those who enforce them.

  • @Whisper6911

thanks for your imput, but watch the film again, I said state to state laws differ,

as do city to city laws are not all the same, in some places you can see as much as 5 years in prison for wrong knife in or near you. I said cops are not your friend.

I stand by that, as a street preacher, I have seen many abused. the film was giving you an option. do it, not do it. free will is yours--

keep you and yours safe in 2,012

  • i have a bayonet from ww1 its still sharp

  • @odins1337

yep they made them good back then, dang things run about $50 each now

and I paid $15 for dozen way back. be sure to check local laws on Bayonets

some states or cities forbid them. little known laws can bite you.

    keep safe

  • I Thought You Were An Old Woman :P

  • @balliboy11

my daughter can throw better blade than me

and my wife can out shoot me,

both have degrees and I was lucky to get through

    high school.

    have a safe winter

  • damn dude you got some nice moves! that looks like a SOG fixation dagger... what kind of knife is that?

  • @pyroblade452

one of the last of a dozen bayonets I bought in the 1960's the whole bunch cost

    $15 and that included shipping,

to be legal I had to take off slot for the rifle barrel. then reinforced for throwing

broke em threw the years, best ever was 5th in Nebraska back in 83. still like to throw

and spin as I did when I was a kid. thanks for contact

  • you look pretty dangerous with the knives spinning

  • @1234567890nam

I am on old man, but in my youth, I was more than a fair hand with a blade.

pa taught me his tricks, He learned them while over in Africa under Patton.

lots of down time, nothing to do over there so they played with their knives. Got real good. yep I sinned as a kid and bet people I could out throw em, sorry I am I gambled:

    have a safe Winter

  • Hi, you seem to be a nice guy.

    Thank you for making this.

    Thank you!

  • @range911kill

as a street preacher for 28 years along with many part time jobs

I just want to keep people out of jail.

    see my video

FBI can keep you out of jail.

  • ohh hello lol

  • @Bufordthegreat

thanks for contact, keep safe in 2,012

  • my state does not have a law on fixed blades or 4 inch folders anything over 4 inches is illegal though

  • @shawn4201111

as the film sadi check state laws, and also each city can have extra laws, and a bac

cop can also invent laws or bend laws to give you a hard time.

    keep safe.

  • @donze52 cops cant invent laws. at least not in the united states. its unconstitutional.

  • @13mschen

Sir, laws are quite vague, allowing cops to bend the law to suit their needs,

and so many on the street I have seen abused by this action.

all the films point was to say, consider another cutting tool. to stay out of jail

    see my film

(FBI can keep you out of Jail)

  • @robecolwell

I do not allow naughty words on my channel as children come see

mr bill's sight, there are plenty of channels that allow such words,

so you may go there. I am blocking you from this channel.

  • "Cop friendly" here (the UK) is ONLY a sub 3", folding pocketknife with no lock allowed.

    I kid you not.

The law says just sub 3" folder, but the locking prohibition was brought in through the courts.

The "scrapers" you show here would be illegal to everyday-carry here.

    I kid you not.

"Any article which has a blade or is sharply pointed except a folding [non-locking, sub 3"] pocketknife" is trouble if found.

I really like these scrapers though.

How durable is the edge? Suitable for a keyring?

  • @thirteenfingers

no not key ring type of tool

a flat rock smaller than your thumb nail without a handle is legal there?

    ok

well, the trick is to find a cutting tool that is not considered a blade. bet you can come up with one that cuts safely and yet does not break a law.

paper can cut. water can cut!

have a safe and legal winter

  • 3.5 in where i live... also i carry a 13 in tanto on my belt and people can't do shit about it.

  • @Blkdrmz

differenet place, different laws, and different blades for different folks

stay safe and pray you never need fight for your life with a blade

  • Donze, you seem like a good guy. I really enjoy watching your videos.

  • @TaxPayingUnit

thanks for kind words, goal of my near 200 videos is to pass on info

before I go to the other side. this video was the only the seventh I ever made.

wish I could have done better but the point is to consider a plan B

  • Its all about local legislation, here in california, (where i cant even open carry a pistol) blade length doesnt factor in. If its a fixed blade, it has to be open carried. If its a folder it has to have a locking mechanism and a bias towards closed. Ive walked around with daggers, machetes and fighting knives on my hip with no issues, and for folders i carry a 5 inch blade.

  • Bomb us back into the stone age? No, It will be legislated when all is said and done.

  • @demensha23

sadly you most likely have it right, the film was to open the talk on

teaching legal cutting tools. never give a cop a chance to bust you,

rumor says cops get kick back from lawyers who make massive money defending

    people in courts.

  • Fully agree with your ideas on stone knives, thanks for uploading. The flint knife will virtually not get blunt either!

  • Nice paleo fluted point clovis at the end there! I have found a broken base of 1 here in ohio!

  • i like the thing u did at the begining but u messed it up by saying o hi there because u were the 1 whu turned on the camera so u would know that people are watching

  • @chihuahuaguy94

this was one of the first films, I ever made of the 200 now produced as my hobby.

forgive me for any mistakes, hope it did not kill the mindset to consider

    primitive way of doing things.

    keep safe this winter

  • @chihuahuaguy94 ... >_> go away young'un

  • nice idea.. never have had an issue carrieing a pocket knife. Even been searched, cops just give them back.. I EDC a Spyderco Endura, Swiss army knife, and a Gerber tool .. the skills you are using however are very valuable..

  • Good vid but can't you cut yourself trying to get it out?

  • @xdeltafox well sir, not once in all my rocks in my pocket did I ever cut myself in there, or getting them out. Now I did cut myself once bad on the leg doing a talk on knife safety using the rock to cut paper and press slightly to hard, and rock went through the paper cut my pants and slit open my leg about 3 inches. yep I was stupid. but with little care, you'll never have a problem. if stopped or questioned, ever admit it to be a blade only a little rock. have a nice Christmas
  • I was wondering can you send them i would like to have a few. im into bushcraft and survival and i would like to have one and i dont think i have them in North Carolina

  • @tjpayne412

Sorry I only give info, not the points,

but you can find products at many locations

such as budk on internet that does sell points and scrapers.

for small fees. hope you the best.

    have a safe winter

  • I like this, seems genuine. I need a cutting tool for work but I'm not aloud a knife (I stack shelves, it's just for plastic wrap slicing) So I searched. I started watching this and thought it was going to be a bit hickish, improvised knife making. Which can concern me a little if the wrong types of people wanting to carry a blade watch. No offence. Anyway, I like your message. No need to carry knifes, yet you still show how people that genuinely need a cutting tool can make use.

  • @Hellsconsort

A stone, flat and small as your thumb nail is perfect cutting tool for many jobs.

no it cant do it all, nor is it a blade for fighting, and no handles keeps most laws

at bay. As the G men become more Gestopo like, the common man must survive

the bad guys plus the Concentration camps.

  • Sound wisdom, only one problem, and it may be regional, I know here in Oregon if I got caught with something like that in my pocket I would have to prove I didn't rob a historic site of a artifact, they take that real serious around here.

  • @Raymond71544

You can buy a modern made flint arrow for less than $3

hang onto the receipt if you fear g men saying it is old.

I had an expert, look at 10 arrow in my collection, he picked out

3 and with his widom said these are the real ones,

I then showed him all were new made out of India.

flint less than an inch arrow has never been used to rob a bank.

    thanks for your contact.

  • I must agree with your sentiment that Government is evil by design .

But you can easily say the same about religion .Any organization that profits by controlling people is inherently bad .The IRS or the CIA --the FBI .or your local cops are just ways to enforce the will of the ruling minority over the brainwashed public .

While all religions keep people in line with the threat of eternal damnation .

The only justice comes the day they all die like the scurvy dogs they are .

  • @millwrightman99

You speak with wisdom, but on the bottom of the dollar pile, and seeing so many get in trouble they can ill afford, I shot this video to give an option.

I have near 200 videos for free on youtube, you may like

have safe Christmas and may GOD bless

  • nice vidio but i live in south florida n there aient no flint so i have to carry a little flick knife

  • @bossmod97

there is no native flint to our area either, but we trade for it.

the video was to to open to the idea. A Good blade under legal length is still

    best in most survival incounters.

  • have u got an ak 47

  • @SuperHorsegirl17

never felt the need for more than a single shot firearm

maybe lucky, but one shot was enough.

    You got one?

  • Nice try pal. Looks like the long knives have eradicated your flint carrying friends.

  • @dodoinurpants

long knives have a place for sure but with the law enforcement becoming the KGB

you might want a plan B

    this film is for that

thanks for you imput and wisdom

  • In Delaware as long as it is not concealed it is considered legal to carry machetes and sabers in public. The cops will still try and arrest though.

  • @valstar1000

Aint never been back east so will take your word, the rurral areas, seem to have cops most of the time with a more mellow outlook but never trust a cop not to be in a bad mood and bust you anyway.

this was one of the first of my near 200 films on youtube, to just open the thoughts and get people to check or consider using stone for cutting tools.

thanks for your imput and wisdom, have a safe Christmas

  • hrrmm,, 4" is ileagal ?.. we are required to carry pocket knifs at work in the mine i work at... for incase of emergency to to able to cut up vent tube to build a shelter incase of fire or cave in..

  • @y2kxj

In Nebraska it is, just check your state as some are different, including age to legally carry and where not to carry. Sad that honest people have to suffer for the 2% that break the law with blades.

thanks for your imput, have a good Christmas

  • It's funny that in Texas, you can open carry a fixed knife (5 inch blade), but a large folding blade can get you in trouble.

  • @frankgon4

In Nebraska legal limit is 6 inch but I see many carry bigger with no problem

cops ignore laws sometimes but if they want or are in a bad mood, look out

that is why I tell people to lean on the side of legal just in case.

    thanks for contact.,

  • and thank you for your input

  • @rocketwilliam

sir I must remove your comment for naughty words, you may rewright your negative comment and it can stand.,

but sir, I clearly stated different states have different laws, do check you, do not get in trouble

I am sorry this video angered you so much, you may like other though I have made near 200.

  • @donze52 i am sorry i was just angry would you please forgive my actions

  • @rocketwilliam

not problem, negative comments permitted but kids read this sight, so I keep it clean for them.

    welcome

  • What does this tell you about "freedom"?

  • @smokeynewton

LONG GONE, FEAR RULES THE LAND,

JUST SAY THE LETTER IRS, WILL PUT MOST INTO PANIC MOOD.

  • @donze52 Ever notice how "IRS" sounds a lot like "KGB"?

  • @smokeynewton

I have so many tell sad stories of how the IRS came and without even telling the target

strip their bank accounts, then the target has to spend years and many court battles to try to get

back the funds. so yes kgb and irs are not that different in my mind set.

    \thanks for contact.

  • "Oh Hello" ... I set up the camera myself but forgot what i was doing during my amazing flip tricks! lmao

  • @JTercel9489

sorry if it bothered you, see back in the 1950's MR WISARD was on TV a

and every show he did it that way,

now I am old and just trying to give a bit of advice, hope the message is not thrown

out because of me being foolish. it was one of the first films I ever shot

and now I have near 200 for free to watch on youtube so perhaps

i am a bit better now, hope you try one more time on my channel

    thanks for contact.

  • where can i get on of these?

  • @Paranormea

many places sell them, a nice place is budk on line,

becareful do not pay to much, $5 is resonable

    thanks for contact

  • Wouldn't it be simpler to leave your state to the wussies and move to a state that doesn't think a 4 inch knife is a weapon?

  • @acoow

3 inch blade, well, born and raised here, so to old to break new sod.

just learn to make do, just like the billion under China Communist do.

don't like it. Hope your G men are more mellow where you are for now.

  • @acoow Try living in the UK!!!!

    Can't carry nothin here...

Even a swiss army knife is risky to carry.....

  • @xpy1000 Your nation has very confused voters.

  • @acoow Stupid voters is more like it. Plus a media that sensationalises any minor drama to a point where the politicians jump onto the band wagon and ban stuff that's only a danger to stupid people anyway...

  • Surgery done with these have an incredible heal rate afterwards.

  • @rrabit44

I have heard rumors of this, but nothing I could prove.

thanks for input, a rock can be a good alternative cutting tool

    thanks for contact

  • A 4" Mora Knife is my favorite now. Just a standard straight knife carried openly on my side.

  • @TheGrayman1234

nice blade for sure, hope your local G men bother you nor laws.

sounds as if your no top of it.

enjoy and make the nation proud of responibility you now carry

  • 0:47 - 0:48 nateev americans lol

  • @manmandaboss123

    HAVE A SAFE HOLIDAY

  • People are so focused on what they have now, same people who would starve without a can opener then use a rock lmao...I see your intent and I like the content...I laugh at people's comments...it's not possible to inform idiots...good video, great idea...thanks!!!

  • @jennaburns1

sounds like you are ahead of the bunch, but watch your back,

and dont step on land mines, we will need your type more than you know

    after the ballon.

    thanks for contact.

  • @donze52 thank you for double spawcing your comments. much easier to read. happy holidays. :)

  • @OTBxTrains

and safe holidays to you and yours,

    GOD SAFE AMERICA

  • Thanks for sharing. In Georgia a concealed knife - as in your pocket- over two inches is illegal. This sounds crazy and it is. The law is obviously not enforced. If I carry a lockblade for possible self defence I carry a small one. I like flint but IMO its not prectical.

  • @HikerJohn316

again in Nebraska up to 3 inch is legal in pocket. and the video is to give alternative cutting tool

also wiggle the branches of computer generation that may the (day after) need to go back in time

to feed their families or defende themselves

thanks for contact and have safe holiday

  • sir, you seem to be extremely intelligent, but misinformed none the less. in the state of Georgia (as with most of the south) it is legal to have a 4in blade on your person. i just has to be a folding knife and be somewhat visible.

  • @darthj3d

sir I am in Nebraska here it is 3 inches, as the video spoke of each city and state can be DIFFERENT, and this video's goal is only to

offer alternative to modern steal blades. ALSO to keep the g men from taxing you more through fines

have a nice day and safe holidays

  • hmm. if you bring up your kids right they wont even have contact with the police.. cheers for the upload :)

  • @bouncerhiphop

well said to a point, my two girls have never seen the inside of a police station nor have I.

but as a candy van on the street since 1983 I have seen many abuses of power.

So preaching the Word, I also add wisdom to keep the Gmen off your Trail by not breaking laws

and there are 158,000 ways for them to destroy your life.; thanks for contact

  • hey i learned about the neolithic the stone age and paleolithic in histtory class :D

  • @SuperRihanna17

You bet, those guys had to fight off monsters of that day

with sticks and flint spear points, if you have to in the future

you could do it again. thanks for contact

  • Thumbs Up

    Very good advice.

    H O W E V E R :

I miss the part where you show how to actually make one of these - make or obtain.

Guess I will have so sift through you clips.

take care and have a good weekend

    silk

    ;-))

  • @blacksilkblacksilk

I discourage making your own flint, there are number of dangers from it,

when flaking, a flake could hit the eye and blind you, wear protective glasses

and getting cut while making one is the norm.

really bad thing is breathing in the shard of flint so small you cant see it.

but enough of them will in fact in time embed in your lungs and do much harm

so I advice the best is to allow experts to make them for you.

a thumb size should be maybe $5,

  • @donze52 Thank you for taking the time to answer. Very much appreciated. Also right on the spot. As it happens I know a stone mason. Will probably pester him for some flints.

    take care and god bless

  • @blacksilkblacksilk

If he wont try budk knives, they carry flint points, made I think in India.

but still sharp and close to what I think you'd like

  • I always knew that rock beat paper.....

  • @ninjafaceify

nice thought, hope you a safe winter

and also health in the flu season

  • @donze52 yu 2 thanx

  • Is that you Uncle Earl?

  • @FirstOneReady

    sorry dont know an Earl,

this old man just made a video one of my first of the near 200 I made after this one

my goal was to show an alternative to modern cutting tools,

and to show that laws in different places can and will bite you:

    thanks for the contact.

  • @donze52 Sorry man it was just something I had to say. I was bored. Anyways yeah I've checked your videos they are very entertaining. Keep up the good work!

  • @FirstOneReady

no problem, hope Santa Brings you health, and safety plus maybe a toy or two this

    Holiday

  • @donze52 Thanks! Hope you keep coming up with great ideas!!!!

  • I always love the videos where they start with "Oh, Hello!" and a surprised look like they didn't expect you. ;) Great vid.

  • @raven8699

, it is just that I watched Mr. Wisard on TV back in the early 1960's.

he always speak as if you had just walked in to his shop.

this film was one of the first I ever did, and it shows, but hope the message

is more important that the bad acting.

    thanks for contact.

  • @donze52 You liked Mr. Wizard too? Nuff said, consider me subbed!

  • ill cut your ass with my rock

  • @grimjow669

no need for violence, you'd win quite easily these days, been decades since I had ot fight

for my life with a blade as I am an old man.

so, the video is only showing an option to a modern blade.

would hope you would consider it if nothing else as a back up.

    thanks for your time.

  • @grimjow669 i think this is really cool... i was just playin

  • i didnt know flint cut that wells wow

  • @knifeniceguy

been told by some that in WW I that flint was used when blades were either lost of

    damaged.

also the blade is a rock unless you put a handle on it,

so a thumb size blade is a great cutting tool, use common sence

and a itty bit of safety and you will enjoy. or at least have an alternative to the modern blade.

  • what if you make a handle for those flint, just a small one, say you find a big piece and you manage to get a long ''blade'', restraining yourself from doing a point and just make a simple handle, would that then be illegal?

  • @Teeklip

your im afraid are splitting hairs, see a bad cop or a good cop on a bad day needs little reason to

send you to prison to be raped daily for the rest of your life.

    so

I my video is only to give you a stone age option to modern cutting tools.

a itty bitty stone with a sharp edge can do that and with common sence you

will use it safely and legally but always check with G men for each state and city have

laws that pray on the public.

  • @donze52 ok, but I hunt rabbit and stuff, so what if I have my knife with me while I'm driving home from someone's field, and a cop stops me? what happens then?

  • @Teeklip

again state to state laws are different , plus good cop bad cop, there are many

options for them to cause you trouble.

key is to pretend you like them, offer no extra info ever,

answer their questions with single words if possible.

    you might watch my video

FBI CAN KEEP YOU OUT OF JAIL

thanks for contact and be safe

  • @donze52 thank you

  • woooh go gramps!

  • @awesomo39

yes I am older than dirt my daughters will testify to, but no grandchildren yet.

    so not gramps.

hope you take the time to check out my nearing 200 videos on youtube

pray safety for you and yours

  • This is a great skill to know, and may indeed be the only cutting tool we can carry one day, but most places will still allow you to carry a knife of some kind--non-locking blades under 3 inches are still legal in most places as far as I'm aware, and locking blades are usually fine in the States. I know how sharp flint can be--how does this not cut you when carried in your pocket without some kind of container to keep it in? I haven't had the easiest time finding flint where I live, but I would

  • @wcropp1 (cont.) love to get a hold of some. You're most certainly right about cops not being your friend--the laws we have these days are nothing short of ridiculous and could only be inspired by Hollywood gangster and ninja films. You just have to make sure and know the laws in your area as best you can and avoid contact with law enforcement at all costs. When in doubt, stick with small, non-threatening blades (Swiss Army Knife, etc.) which will do 99% of your daily cutting tasks.

  • @wcropp1

thanks for contact, almost every state has hidden laws, or laws not enforce, so just because a officer says its legal does not make it so. they just do not enforce it unless they want to an excuse to get you.

as for flint, I carry for decades now a thumb nail size scaper in my shirt pocket, not once has it cut me nor my shirt, lucky, maybe but I do use care reaching in to get it, yes I did have a larger flint that I carried in a small leather pouch, but why itty bitty flint cuts.

  • Sainless steel last much longer then high carbon steel because it dont rust or very slow. But come on, walking around with a rock in our pockets. There is just no substitude for a knife.

  • @nitroflesh

wisdom you speak, if you have a choice, but just as guns may be taken

blades may be, and in fact many places forbid them already

but a rock the size of your thumb nail without a handle has cutting that can do many jobs

    thanks for contact

  • @donze52 I know, I know. I live in Europe so I know all about those damn laws. If you have a knife with you they 'll think you're potential murderer. I'm bushcrafter myself and when I'm in the city I just hope they don't search my car. Because I have a lage knife one smaller for carving and an axe. I think I'd go straith to jail.

  • @nitroflesh

you speak of an ax, I like to carry a tomahawk. in the front seat,

also a shovel in the back seat, course I work part time at a ranch for 38 years

so I carry what I might need. Dang sure Walmart is 2 hour drive away. so better take

what I need. thanks for contact.

  • Don't follow this advice in the UK. If carried without legitimate reason the flint would be regarded as an adapted weapon in law and the penalty would be the same as for carrying an offensive weapon.

  • @noonsight2010

as I said check local laws, but have not until now ever had anyone say they could not have a small rock in their pocket.

course I have never traveled over a couple hundred miles from home in my life. but for those that do

better be safe, never give a cop the privilage of arresting you

  • interesting concept -there are many things that can get the job done

  • @cassanoa

trick is not to make a cop your enemy, at least not yet.

so cover all your bases, and learn primitive just incase

    the dollar dies.

    thanks for contact

  • the law in maryland is that you can have any sized blade you want but if you r doing illegal activity then any knife over 4 inches then they can call it a "gun"

  • @smashandcrashbros

every state is different, in fact I have had law enforcement from the same state give totally different

laws on knives. so becareful not counting they never get rid of laws, they just don't enforce them till they need

    to target someone.

    thanks for contact

  • @zack95clark

Now < now , I do not allow naughty words on my sights

but you have a point, still wisdom says if they pass fool laws

    only fools will follow them,

so you visit my sights and rewrite you thoughts without

naughty words for I bet you have much to say, and the world

    will hear, thank you sir.

  • 5 1/2 inch blade length is legal carry in Texas

    i just carry a 3 1/2 incher

  • @INbredMonarchy

sounds good, all this old man;'s video goal was to open the subject

and get people, young and old to check out laws before getting busted

and to also consider flint not only as a rock but a tool.

    thanks for contact.

  • in maryland they want it under 4 inches but if you are a cc person then it can be bigger .im prety sure that thats the law but ill check up on that

  • @smashandcrashbros

thanks for contact, the goal was

to keep everyone from Jail or fines

and to show an alternative cutting tool.

  • but the video is good

  • @hotwheel360

thanks, was one of the first this old man ever tried, many mistakes

but I am trying to learn, to get the message across better with time.

    think safe be safe.

  • i have a 3-4 inch blade i live in CA SF which blade size would be good to carry
