If I had one of these little guys I don't think I could ever help quoting the Simpsons at it all the time "Hey! This sidewalk is for regular walkin', not fancy walkin!"
I would like to thank you and others who have put videos of their CH kittens on YouTube, so that people like me can recognise what's wrong with our own kittens without paying for £500 worth of vet tests. Little Jude moves just like my little Tiger Lily.
She can move fast across the floor when she wants to though, she seems to fall over less with more speed.
So they compensate for it as they age? Well that is good to know, that it won't get any worse. Jude is a one-in-a-million kitten! Watch some day soon for some videos of my little Boley girl. Thanks! :-)
definetely won't get worse, and yes most of these guys do adjust and gett a little better. when mine were younger i would walk them around the house. holding them while they moved so they wouldnt fall, and it helped
He's very cute, despite his wobbly gait. Do they often improve as they get older? I think my new little girl baby kitty has a touch of CH. She is wobbly on her legs and tumbles a lot. But she is VERY smart and has loads of personality, just like your Jude! :-)
Cerebellar Hypoplasia is a non-progressive disease. Meaning that it can never get worse, but it never gets better either. As kittens get older, usually they learn to adapt to their disability and get around just as well as other cats. They just wobble a bit more =]
"heyy jude, don't fall downnn" lol Beatles song XD
