Sully is an American hore. As he said, this bookends with 9/11, and reminds us of the good. I watched the press conference, and he remembered the ferry boat captain as the reason things turned out so well. He proved my '08 election analogy right(America is a 727 in a storm, and an engine goes out...the man we needed behind the controls is a guy with grey hair, not some arrogant young pilot fresh out of school). Thanks Sully for reminding us all of the good.

He's an awesome pilot and they were lucky to have the Hudson River there. But since it happened in America, people have to use that silly word "miracle". We have science today, and thanks to modern science we know that miracles can't happen! : )

Miracle!? lol how about the pilot did an awesome piloting job. Give credit where it is due. Or did god cause the plane to go down so he could help the pilot save the passengers? People in media throw around the word 'miracle' way to much. What laws of the natural world were suspended for this to happen? NONE!

Why not just let the passengers go on their merry way without a hitch? This is an amazing set of circumstances where we had well trained veteran pilot and co pilot and flight attendants they all had many years of flying...God would not endanger people just so could save them in the end.
