  • i have taken countless numbers of stray cats, friends, family, even strangers cats to be fixed, sometimes even paying, just to stop that cycle of suffering and neglect before it can start.

  • The sad part about it is.....people will never learn, not even care a little.

    Great video 5 Stars *****

  • Important video. Thank you for posting!

  • You are an angel. I admire what you are doing and wish more people would neuter their own pets. I live with 8 rescues, all neutered and all indoor only. HUGS, PURRS & HEADRUBS to you!!

  • Having said that, however, it's not my intentions to make decisions for anyone else. You're doing a difficult job under difficult circumstances; and I realize it's hard enough to find homes for the existing cats without bringing more into the world. Keep doing what you're doing, and I hope that many others all across the nation and the world will join you. :) If only more people would get their pets spayed and neutered BEFORE the pets get pregnant -- that's the best way, is all I'm saying.

  • I wasn't suggesting that being pro-life was not to alter a cat. I have four cats at home, all indoor cats, all rescued (in one way or another) and all are fixed. I just think if I *knew* a cat was ALREADY pregnant, it would be a tough decision (for me) to have the unborn kittens aborted (in order to spay right then), knowing that the kittens would feel pain and be denied life similar to the way human preborn children in the U.S. are now. I hope I'm being consistent and not misunderstood here.

  • Being pro life in the cat world means fixing as many cats as possible, so so many are not abandoned, suffer and die, for lack of homes. I wonder if people know, how huge the problem is, and that if they allow their cat to procreate, that means death to other kittens and cats, because there are so many, so many who won't get homes.

  • Good video! :) Who wrote the music?

I agree with what you've said 100% and couldn't have said it better. It especially makes me sad to think of all the cats who were already expecting kittens (I presume) at the time they were spayed. :( Being pro-life, I'm not sure I could do that; but then it's probably hard to tell until the veterinarian checks them. I wish more pet owners would stop being so immature and selfish and do the right thing.

  • Have you seen the cat "Help!" music video? It's a song about spaying and neutering your cats and dogs and it's really cool!

  • Do you have a link to it? I haven't seen it. would love to.

  • Just type in cat Help music video.

  • Thanks, will do.

  • Rudy, Petunia and Milton want to thank you for entering Pet Video Contest #10. YAY!!!!!!

    5*

  • Thanks Deb.

  • Important video, thank you for posting, like the music!

  • Thanks Velvina.

  • Thank you so much for making this video. I have a mother cat, she had 5 kittens and I am very happy to tell you that all of them have been adopted this past weekend to very loving stable homes. I miss them very much though, the house seems so empty without them.

This video has convinced me to get my mother cat (Maxine) fixed ASAP.

  • That's wonderful Abbeydoor. I hope, if you know the people who adopted the kittens, that maybe you can make sure they too get fixed. Thank you.

  • THanks.

  • good video
