bs3621 5 lever locks don't really mean anything now, I can pick most of them in less than 3 minutes also get bump proof locks such as the abloy protec or evva 3ks or mcs, If You choose to get a mortice lock get something like the Chubb 3g110.
Get an alarm system that has over 50 zones, You may not need all of them but You can expand later without replacing the entire system and your guaranteed a good system.
Don't be cheap, Cheap security is no security, Buy Quality ---->

Mortice: Chubb 3g110 £100-120
Patio Door Cylinder: Abloy protec, Evva 3KS or MCS £ 80-100

Fit all timbre doors with mortice locks, 5 lever to BS3621 with an additional 5 lever dead lock to the lower of the door to stop the flex in the door (burglers hate these).
Instantly upgrade your uPVC door locks to the break secure variety (MUL T LOCK for example)to stop cylinder attack and install sash jammers where you can. If you are having a uPVC conservatory built or french doors consider having the exterior handles blank without a lock to stop any form of cylinder attack.
