Dude I have been following your videos. You know a lot about this game. But a better strategic way of leveling up Mr.Mime, Or Mimien as its called. Is simply just go to the nugget bridge in cearulian city. And use the Vs Seeker on the trainers standing on the bridge. One of them has a level 19 Raticate. Just keep battleing those trainers. I got my Mr.Mime from level 8, to level 27 with the rest of my team in only 2 hours. Just thought Id let you know. TRAINERS UNITE!!!!!!

This is actually super-cool! By the way, for any commenters interested in a neat little tidbit: It's actually possible to breed later in the game, which was a nifty little tool in G/S/C and R/S/E. Once you beat the Elite Four after all the Gym Leaders. However, not to prove chuggaaconroy wrong, as without a female Mr. Mime it would be impossible to breed another Mr. Mime.

Pokemon has a bunch of gender problems. When a female azurill evolves there is a 25% chance that it will turn male. This is because azurill has a 25-75 ratio and marill has a50-50 ratio. Good job with that Gamefreak.

No! Barrier does not just raise your defence for 5 turns! It raises your defence two levels until switched out- would have much more useful for a Mr Mime with low defences.

@gator69ful If I understand what you're saying, that sounds like a pretty strong team. Having used all of those pokemon before, I can say that it is pretty good. I would recommend Exeggcute over Hitmonlee because you could use a strong pure special attacker, whereas Nidoking is a good physical attacker. Plus, psychic totally owns with the gen 1 pokemon due to there being no dark-type in gen 1. Hope this helps!

Mimien grew 9 levels in 4:30 seconds! That averages to 30 seconds per level. And foresight only makes ghost types vulnerable to normal type moves. Not fighting type moves. I tried it in emerald against a Sableye (foresight then karate chop) and no effect.

@XatuAppraisal Did Sableye know Karate Chop? Foresight and moves similar to it only affect the Pokemon in battle. Hence, Machop could use Foresight, THEN Karate Chop (to very little effect), but if a different Pokemon uses Foresight, and then you switch, the effect disappears.

i used venonat on my first play through of the game and it evolved into venomoth level 53 and it was my 3rd strongest pokemon 2nd being my level 56 pidgeot 1st my level 71 charazard
