The idea is pretty incomprehensible if you start with the premise that Amma is a normal woman. She is not. It's about being touched by God, plugging in for a moment to a live current of spiritual energy hot enough to fry some of your bad tendencies or sorrows, to melt your soul towards goodness and light. She's 76 and I NEVER stoped trying to love her, even up untill this very day. I'm a 50 year old well adjusted (it took many years to accept this) and I have no intentions of abanoning her, like she did me. I on the other hand KNOW the difference, between right and wrong.
