  • You notice how he pauses slightly then says "moments"...as if he's not completely sure what to call them. They're really memories but he may not realize them as such.

  • Piękne spaniałe .......

  • this movie i saw back in 82 and i never get tired of it, this is the best seen of the movie

  • I see the self-congratulatory - and oxymoronic - phrase "instant classic" wrote on movies so often that it makes me ill at the abuse of the English language and the cinematic arts in general. Yet I firmly believe that in a future more distant than 20 or 50 years, that of all the movies of the 20th century, this will be one of them preserved. Nothing better captures the Western World's mania for dystopic fiction while at the same time conveying deep truths on what it means to be conscious.

  • 5 people never watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhauser gate.

  • My god that painting is beautiful!

  • Ridley Scott should make a prequel movie to this legendary classic, showing how Roy, Zhora, Pris and other Replicants escaped their slavery. It would be awesome If a prequel could show us the very things Roy describes of what hes saw in his life to Deckard before he died.

  • @RaikenXion

and fast .... it's like a block buster waiting for someone to take it out!

  • @ppmuscimol01 We can only wish. Ridley Scott keeps looking forward too much, he doesnt realize that there is more he can add to his early works (which I consider his best). Even Alien I think he could make a promising Prequel to also, but should mainly focus on showing how that ship got on LV4 26, and not mention anything about it being "Predators" lol.

  • @RaikenXion sorry but i disagree, only because the actors played there roles perfectly, the new ones wouldnt be as good

  • @JoshLevo Yes I do agree with u there, so maybe if they tried sum CGI techniques, like wot that film Beowulf uses, Hav u saw that. And just use the original actor's voices, and likeness, with CGI to try make them look younger maybe. But just think how cool a prequel wud be.

  • "... attack ships off the Shoulder of Orion, all those moments, will be lost in time, like tears in rain... time to die."

    Amazing! Great video. Vangelis rules!!!

  • Tyrell.

  • idk how many times i watched blade runner - i stopped counting. Everytime i watch it i hope the movie doesnt end.

I love Roy Batty and rick Deckard and. Even Eldon Tyral is great

  • This scene was probably the first time I thought about my own moments that would fade away with my own passing.

It makes you really think about mortality and the experiences unique to our own lives.

  • Impresionante e irrepetible.

  • historic moment in film he made the lines up as he was going

  • wrong, he wrote them on the day, however he did use a lot of the exsisting scrip..

    i.e

attack ships on fire of the coast of orion

c-beams glittering near the tannhauser gate

  • Hermosas palabras, la mejor pelicula del mundo . felicitaciones.

  • anybody know where i can get the image thats on here?

  • Probably the best scene in ANY movie....EVER!

    A masterpiece,,,the whole soundtrack.

  • Rutger Hauer improvised those words.

  • most beautiful thought I ever heard

  • I listening to this music, I crying... Sorry

  • cheer up dude njoy

  • There are maybe 3 pieces of music that can make me cry. All of them are on the BladeRunner soundtrack, and I'm not an emo. The real Vikings would cry in public. They believed if you couldn't cry, than you couldn't really laugh either. And the Vikings were bad mother fuckers.

  • No shame in crying

  • Thats so awesome what u wrote

  • This is truly beautiful, it actually brings a tear to my eye, gives me shivers down my spine and makes me think of all the good times in my life

  • vanghelis is a true genious

  • For my ex best friend Peter..."all those moment will be lost in time like tears in rain...."

  • why ex?

  • gives me ecstasy shivers and brings a tear to my eye when i hear it. best song from the soundtrack, imo.

  • The truth of the matter, the majority of us do live in fear, we are slaves and our memories mean nothing to most people.

  • Very profound thing to say friend, i use that quoting from you, hope you dont mind.

  • What do you mean with slaves?

  • C'est si beau !

On en vient à AIMER cette machine à tuer...

Tout le talent d'un extraordinaire acteur et d'un extraordinaire metteur en scène. Et d'une musique fantastique...

  • Por Paula.

  • deth is the biggest lie

  • I agree...

  • precious photo great work NorskTorsk

  • The Tanhauser Gates : o )

  • Love ^^

  • fancy trace says---- fuck this world

  • Rutger Hauer's monologue is absolutely stunning. Amazing movie with amazing music...

  • Incredible iterpretation of death by music.

  • Where did you get the image for the video?

  • don't remember but i think i just found it on google

  • If anyone has seen tokyo or new york at night or any industrial site at night coupled to what is happening to our enviroment and then see blade runner you'll see how visionary blade runner and particularly the book written in the 60's really was. Prophetic even

  • i myself was born in stockton on tees, ridley scott is a geordie from newcastle like all my family, have you ever been to stockton?i can see where he got his ideas for this movie,go to stockton on tees not tokyo and you will see

  • and i just realised when you said prophetic, visionary, your totally right but its been happenin for years, its a crying shame but i believe its mans nature to destroy everything around himself, that said you would think peeps would wake up but they wont

  • Maybe Mr Anderson in Matrix is right. We are like a virus.

  • agent Smith you mean

  • While I thought that I was learning how to live, I have been learning how to die.

  • that is so true, I seem sometimes we are aimlessly wandering,,,, when we are just wandering aimlessly

  • utrulig :D

  • mortality was never so beautiful

  • brilliant!!!

  • Best movie scene ever, never get tired of seeing it

  • this Film helped me accept a lot of what I see

taking place today... this character helped our armies see what happens to them...still I would probably prefer not to understand how close we are to this script..outstanding this actor, in a few moments to define shelf life

    of the used mind...

  • awesome!!!

  • Beautiful, just beautiful. gotta get my hands on the vangelis soundtrack! :')

  • wow, very nicely done with the background and speech as intro! :)
