well yes i know you're Irish but geographically the islands of Great Britain and Ireland are called the British Isles together, at least that's what i learned in class lol. sorry if i offended you! <3

haha aww thanks for the tips! it's something i really like to work on. i watch different videos and movies and things to try to learn about the accents i'm fond of. it's much harder to put them into practice than i anticipate! i'd love to be able to do a Sheffield accent, but that one seems reeeally hard for me so far haha!

For some reason, American's tend to slip into Australian accent when trying to go British... I've yet to figure out why they sound the same to us lol. Much better than mine could ever be!

haha i agree, at least for the Cockney accent. their long A sounds are very similar to me. it might have something to do with the fact that Australia was a British colony in the first place lol! i'm workin' on it though hon! =D

haha thanks. yeah to my ears, Cockney and Aussie sound pretty similar sometimes, especially in terms of long A sounds. at least, going off of the Cockney accents i've heard.
